Amy's Deal or No Deal Game Report 23/11/11

Amy has box 22 today. Amy is from Hackney, she is a freelance costume designer. She talks a little about her design work and Noel asks her about the latex designs she makes, and Amy says that it is funny he should ask about that as she has a gift for him and the Banker. Noel opens his gift and it is a red DoND bow tie, which Noel puts on. Noel then sends the Banker his gift. Amy has a lucky cat that her friend gave her. Amy shows us some of her pictures of her design work and also her family. She has her mum and dad in the audience for support.

That's not a good way to start says Noel. The Banker says that he received a black tie with the DoND box on it and he loves it, he has put it straight on and is wearing it with pride. He says that wasn't the best opening round.

Oh no says Amy. Noel says that was a horrible sting in the tail. The Banker calls everyone a bunch of idiots! Noel tells him that everyone is supporting Amy.

Noel asks Amy what she would do with any winnings. Amy says she would like to expand her business, as at the moment she does everything herself and also works from home, so would love a workshop so she could work away from home and also hopefully get some help so she can work on expanding the business. Amy goes to her dad who says that he is worried about box 22 and box 13, as he thinks box 22 has a small number in it. The Banker calls and says that he can't remember any friend or family who has been so pessimistic, and offers him a tea or coffee!

Exactly what you needed to do says Noel. The Banker calls and wants the cup of tea back from Amy's dad!

That is not a good 8-box says Noel. The Banker says that he is a very happy man, and this game is like watching Bambi in reverse!

Amy says that is a good offer for the board really, and she can still give her mum the holiday to Rome that she wanted to go on, but couldn't afford. The Banker phones and asks if it would make a difference if he threw in a holiday to Rome as well, but then hangs up the phone. Amy's dad tells her to remain positive.

Noel says that he hates that chant! The Banker says that was incredibly irritating and he isn't just talking about that chant!

Amy says that is amazing and would be a holiday, and also some equipment for her business. But she says when you get a good round like that you get a feeling that you could play on. The Banker calls and asks if Amy fancies a bit of fun now, if Amy no deals £7,250, she can then open 1 box and if it is blue he will make her another offer, but if it is red he won't. Amy says that she likes a bit of fun, and there are 3 blues to hit.

You just need to find a blue now says Noel. Noel then does a massive build up to the box opening.

Well done says Noel. The Banker really thought that would be £100,000.
