Olga's Deal or No Deal Game Report 20/06/11

Olga has box 20 today. Olga is from Bradford, but originally from the Murmansk. She shows us a landscape picture of her town, and tells us why she came to the UK, as she loves the English language and culture. She is single despite her mum wanting to find a husband for her, but she says she is happy being single.

Round 1
Olga asks the pilgrims for help with the British sense of humour as she really struggles with it.
21 - £5 Hayley
12 - £250,000 Gary
14 - £1 Nicole
18 - 10p Andy
8 - 1p Macka

Banker time
What an amazing round says Noel, and he has never seen anything like that on the show. The Banker says 'Hi' to Olga in Russian, he says that he spends a lot of time online and a lot of messages arrived to him when everyone found out she was single earlier.

Banker's offer:
£7,500

That is an incredible offer says Olga, but she doesn't want to be the first to go in the opening round.

Olga says
NO DEAL

Round 2
1 - £100,000 Beryl-Anne
11 - £15,000 Ken
10 - £20,000 Charlotte

Banker time
That is the kind of round you don't want says Noel. Olga says the board is balanced at 7-7, although doesn't think it is in terms of money.

Banker's offer:
£3,000

That's OK says Olga, and it's a very good offer for the board.

Olga says
NO DEAL

Round 3
15 - £100 Stacey
Olga wasn't sure what the value was and thought it was the 50p, but Noel says the board is quite a useful guide to find out what is remaining, or what has gone
19 - £35,000 Andre
7 - £10 John

Banker time
Noel says that Olga wants to win enough money to set up her own language business. Olga talks about how she is so happy to be single, she was originally planning to marry someone, and for various reasons it didn't happen and it left her bruised, Noel tells her that the right person will come along, and it could be someone quite old but loaded! The Banker calls and says 'Hello baby'!

Banker's offer:
£3,000

Olga says that it is very precarious at the moment, and Noel says it is if you want to be pessimistic.

Olga says
NO DEAL

Round 4
Olga is wary of the 'Death box', the newbie and also box 13.
5 - £250 Anthony
3 - £50 Victoria
This is the round she wanted says Noel.
9 - £75,000 Ted

Banker time
It's a one-box game now says Noel. The Banker says that Olga is in big trouble now

Banker's offer:
£1,000

Macka says that Olga still has a lot of boxes above £1,000.

Olga says
NO DEAL

Round 5
22 - £3,000 Fred
6 - £1,000 Seema
There is a huge amount riding on this next box says Noel.
4 - £50,000 Brenda

Banker time
What a disappointing game says Noel, although there is still the chance of £10,000 being on the table. The Banker says the last offer was so low because the chances of taking the £50,000 were so high.

Banker's offer:
£850

Olga says
NO DEAL

Round 6
2 - £10,000 Graham
13 - £750 Karen
16 - £5,000 Newbie Cindy

Banker time with 50p and £500 remaining

The Banker says he would have never picked the newbie

Banker's offer:
£99

Olga says
NO DEAL

Noel opens Olga's box 20 and reveals £500

Box 17 with Em contains the 50p

Olga takes a deep breath and then does a little dance. Noel says it is one of those games where you can go away with no regrets, as you didn't do anything wrong, but lady luck just wasn't there today.
