Deal or No Deal although initially appearing very simple in format of just opening a few boxes for the chance to win some big money prizes, actually has some potentially complex decisions to be made at points throughout the show, the contestants occasionally try complex or simple gameplay in an attempt to give them an edge in beating the Banker.

Gary's Deal or No Deal Game Report 28/06/11

Gary has box 7 today. Gary is a security officer at the houses of parliament. Noel wants to know about Gary's other career though, and then shows a picture of Gary with a wrestling belt he won when he was a pro wrestler. We get to see a picture of Gary's sons, and he has his wife Lyndsey in the audience for support.

Round 1
Gary says he is going to be a bit different today and be nice to the Banker. The Banker calls and asks what drink and biscuits Gary would like during the break.

Banker time
The Banker and Andy are very pleasant to each other

Gary says
NO DEAL

The Banker has delivered a pot of tea and plate of cakes for Gary

Noel pours out a cup of tea for himself and also makes a cup for Gary's wife

Banker time
That has made it serious now says Noel.

Banker's offer:
£5,000

Gary says he can pay his car off with that amount. Gary says in the future he would like to take his boys to Florida, and would also like to buy a house.

Gary says
NO DEAL

Round 3

Oh dear says Noel

Banker time
That was a horrible round says Noel. The Banker asks for the plate of cakes to be returned! He then wants the cup of tea from Gary and his wife returned!

Banker's offer:

Karen tells Gary to keep his chin up.

Gary says
NO DEAL

Round 4
Gary says that he isn't going to be nice to the Banker any more, and he gets lots of cheers from the pilgrims.

Banker time
This isn't going the way we wanted says Noel. The Banker says he is a business man and that is the kind of board you speculate on.

Banker's offer:

It's not looking too good is it says Gary. Micole thinks there is at least one more round in the game.

Gary says

Banker time
The £75,000 is still there in your life says Noel. The Banker says he did make a very low offer last time.

Banker's offer:
£5,000

Noel says that is pitched very cleverly. Gary asks the pilgrims who would deal, and a few put up their hands.

Gary says
NO DEAL

Round 6
That was very brave says Noel, and Gary says that he is bricking it now!

Banker time with £1,000 and £75,000 remaining

Gary says he is shaking like a leaf now. The Banker calls and tells Noel to bring back out the cakes and cup of tea for Gary. Gary tells the Banker to wait a while as he has a sip of tea and a cake!

Noel starts playing with the offers...

Banker's offer:

Noel reminds Gary of his reaction to £19,000 and what he said he could do with that.

Gary says
NO DEAL

Noel is totally stunned by Gary. Noel says that he shocked and stunned everyone as they all thought he was going then, and Gary said so did he, but he will never have this opportunity.

Noel is about to open the box and the Banker calls and offers the SWAP

Gary says
NO SWAP

Noel opens Gary's box 7 and reveals £1,000

Gary turns to his wife and says sorry.

Box 16 with Brenda contains the £75,000

Gary said he had to go for it, even though it looked like he was being greedy, as this is a once in a lifetime opportunity.
