Ramesh's Deal or No Deal Game Report 06/04/10

Noel talks about the Easter games and how the results of them were all very different, with some unique twists thrown in.

Ramesh has box 13. Ramesh is a retired pharmacist from Surrey. He explains how he originally trained to do dentistry but moved onto being a pharmacist. He shows an old pic of his family and explains he lost his brother and father in a year of each other. We also get to see a pic of Ramesh marrying his wife who is in the audience today. The pic shows Ramesh putting powder in her hair and he says it was a sexy thing to do. Ramesh also has an ornament of a Lord and boxes of sweets for Noel and the banker...

The banker says the shape of the game is yet to emerge but Ramesh's positivity is worrying him.

Noel tucks into the sweets Ramesh gave him.

The banker has a sugar rush because he's eaten all of the sweets.

Ramesh says it's tempting but he says look at that board.

Banker time
The banker says he's worried Ramesh is going to get a large chunk of his cash.

Banker's offer:

Ramesh says it's a good offer but he says he feels positive.

Round 4
7 - Zaid - 1p
Zaid rushes on to the walk of wealth to give Ramesh a kiss. Noel says this is turning into a sensational game.
17 - newbie Mary - £5,000
Noel says this is a frightening combination for the banker as Ramesh is very positive and the boxes are being good for him.
14 - Kelly - £35,000

Banker time
The banker says he's going to struggle to stop Ramesh if the £250k remains in play. Noel reminds the banker that the last time it was on the table was on 9th December 2009!

Banker's offer:
£28,500

Noel says the reality is that Ramesh could destroy the board in a single round, but also says this is the 'OHO' moment. Tom says it's a no brainer and he should have a go.

Round 5
Noel says this is critical now!
1 - Tom - £50
2 - Beryl - £3,000
Noel says if this is blue, this is the most sensational 5-box in years!
21 - Emma - £750

Banker time
Noel says the banker HAS to stop Ramesh now! The banker says that if Ramesh says no deal, the final offer could be just £7 if Ramesh is left with 2 blues at the end.

Banker's offer:
£51,000

Ramesh says he feels very lucky and Noel says people don't get the mega money without feeling lucky and being brave. Tom says it's a nice clever offer and Raff says it's a 60% chance that Ramesh has one of the reds on the table. The banker phones back and says he accepts that odds are Ramesh has a red on the table but he says £51,000 is too much to lose!

Ramesh's wife comes down to the table and she says she'd go one more round! Ramesh takes his shoes off and has a little prayer...

Round 6
Noel says this is 3 massive boxes in Ramesh's life but also in the history of the show.

Noel says this could still be a dream or a nightmare.

"Oh crumbs, OH WOW!" says Noel.

Banker time with £5 and £250,000 remaining

Ramesh makes a little prayer to his lord to thank him not for the fortune but for the courage. The banker says that was a vivid demonstration of the power of faith.

Banker's offer:
£77,000

Ramesh asks Tom who says he'd be gutted for him if he went home with £5 BUT the £250k is still there. Spiro says that's a hell of a lot of money but he's also a firm believer of the OHO club but he also says a good gambler knows when to quit.

Ramesh says
DEAL

Ramesh says both him and his wife had a dream that box 4 would have big money. She says she's surprised he dealt!

Noel says the swap would be guaranteed here as the £250k is in play. Ramesh says he'd have said SWAP

Noel swaps Ramesh's box 13 for box 4...

Box 4 contains £5

The other contestants rush out to congratulate Ramesh.

Box 13 (now with Ciara) contains the £250,000

Noel says that's the 1st time the £250k has come to the table since 09/12/09!
