Beryl's Deal or No Deal Game Report 1/04/10

Noel says he's aware we get different viewers at the weekend, so he delves into the files and tells us some information about the contestants.

Beryl has box 9. Tom and Andy G help Beryl to the table with her box. Beryl shows some pics of her daughter and grandchildren, and a pic of her cat who is 19 years old! We also get to see a pic of St Anthony, and Beryl explains he's always been with her. She gets quite emotional as she talks about her faith.

Beryl says she's played the game lots on her DS and she's using a tried and tested system to chose her boxes today!

She then skips some boxes and confuses Noel.

Banker time
Noel says we've not had an all-blue opening round for a while! The banker talks about Lee doing kick-boxing, and he says he thought that had something to do with kicking boxes off people.

"WOOOWWW" says Beryl and she talks about how that would do up her garden nicely!

The banker says he heard Beryl saying during the break that £3,000 would be a nice sum to take home.

Beryl asks Tom who says for the big money, it's a one-box game and it's risky to go on, but she has a nice block of reds.

Beryl says she's choosing her favourite numbers now.

Banker time
Noel says this is a wonderful scenario. The banker says Beryl has laughed her way to a very powerful spot!

Banker's offer:

Beryl says this is serious now. Adam says this is a great opportunity as odds are she has at least £10k in her box. Beryl asks if the banker would make an offer after every box!! The banker phones back and says if Beryl says NO DEAL, she'll get an offer after the next box, but would have to open 2 more after that before the next offer.

Round 6 (part one)
Kelly now and she starts crying!

Banker time

Banker's offer:
£26,000

The banker phones back and says he's changed his mind - Beryl will have an offer after the next box if Beryl goes on! Noel says Beryl may be having a wonderful day but everyone else is scared stiff for her! Tom says the banker's being very kind and £26k is a great sum, but talks about a sum Beryl spoke about. Beryl talks about how she eventually purchased a house but still owes £50k on it.

Round 6 (part two)
Everyone looks shocked! Jonny now and he starts crying!

Banker time
The banker says if Beryl goes on and finds the £250k, the offer will be £50 BUT if she goes on and leaves the £250k in play, the offer will be £50,000.

Banker's offer:
£27,500

Beryl says why is the £250k still out there? Why hasn't she picked it by now? She says if the offer had been £30,000, she'd have known what to do! The banker phones back and says his job is to make it as difficult as possible for the player and get the box for the least amount of money, so he's not changing the offer!

Round 6 (part three)
Noel says this box will decide everything!
10 - Emma - £250,000

Banker time with £10 and £250 remaining

Beryl says she's loved every minute of this and it's been a dream. The banker says Beryl's going away with love, respect and admiration.

Beryl says

Beryl wins £10 from her box 9.

Box 19 with Sal contains the £250

Beryl tells Noel not to worry and she says she's suffered far worse than getting a tenner!
