Deal or No Deal although initially appearing very simple in format of just opening a few boxes for the chance to win some big money prizes, actually has some potentially complex decisions to be made at points throughout the show, the contestants occasionally try complex or simple gameplay in an attempt to give them an edge in beating the Banker.

Jonny's Deal or No Deal Game Report 30/04/10

Noel says he has a lecture for us today! He says the game goes through cycles and talks about the various games we've had recently. He tells his students that all you have to do is keep saying no deal and you change your lives forever! He says the title of his lecture is "Easier said than done"!

Jonny has box 3. Jonny is from Bristol but originally from New Zealand. He talks about his father and says he was ill while he was in New Zealand, and died in 1999, and he says he was such an inspiration in his life. Jonny has his sister in the audience today, and he's currently studying international education in Bath.

Jonny says he's going to play the game today! He has no system...

Jonny talks about box 13 and superstition, and the banker phones to say this is game number 1,313!

Noel introduces us to Jonny's girlfriend in the audience, and Jonny explains he met her through getting a lift from Bath to Dorset. The banker talks about the number of tears in the studio lately...

Noel says Jonny's being very honest with his comments, and he wonders if Jonny's playing a poker game.Noel says Jonny's ambition is to travel the world with his girlfriend and help people less fortunate than themselves.

Banker time
The banker says he loved Jonny's break link because he played on the "Y" in Jonny and used it as the word "why"! The banker now plays Jonny's audition tape where he practises doing his break link.

The banker talks about how Jonny's sister is getting married soon, and he says he can see the dream wedding edging away.

The banker says the talk of Jonny's father has touched an emotional chord with him, but business is business...

Noel says that's very close to the mean and it's a compliment to Jonny. Jonny talks about how he thought of the £15k, £20k and £35k as backup amounts and he'd have gone for it if any of them had been in the final 2 with the £250k. Sharon says this board is similar to Ray and Zaid's games.
