Deal or No Deal although initially appearing very simple in format of just opening a few boxes for the chance to win some big money prizes, actually has some potentially complex decisions to be made at points throughout the show, the contestants occasionally try complex or simple gameplay in an attempt to give them an edge in beating the Banker.

James' Deal or No Deal Game Report 28/08/11

James has box 10. James is a building services engineer, and he has a fiancée. Noel has a go at him and tells him to have some ambition! James shows a pic of him with his fiancée, and a pic of him with his football team. Noel says James's fiancée said to him that she wants James to lose a stone in weight, but she denies it!

Round 1

Noel says that's absolutely amazing. Noel talks about ice-cream Gaz again! James talks about how he proposed to his fiancée, and he did it in snow in Bromsgrove!

Noel says James and his fiancée what the dream wedding and dream honeymoon.

Noel asks Gary about his little soldiers, and Gary says he was 9 when he caught his in his zip!

The banker says Gary's comment made him wince! The banker talks about the pic James showed earlier, and says his brother-in-law in the pic looks like Frank Lampard.

James asks Paul, who says there's still a lot up there.

James says

Dave now, and he reveals he's called Skipper as he does a special jazz move where he skips, and he comes out from behind the wing and performs it! Noel talks about the reverse-worm dance James did, and James does a demonstration of it. James reveals he has his camera in his pocket, so Noel takes a photo of James doing the dance!

Banker time
The banker says the board suddenly becomes very good if you remove the blues.

James' fiancée says she'll support him, whatever he decides to do.

James wonders what the record is for having the most number of 1p's while on the wings, and Noel reckons it's about 4.

Banker time
The banker says someone once had the 1p 9 times while on the wings, and James had it 4 times.

Banker's offer:
£7,000

James' fiancée says this is awkward now, but he could turn the board around if he goes on. James weighs up the board and says he has 4 above and 4 below the offer. The banker rings and says he's unsure if he'd deal this offer and he asks if James feels lucky.

James says

Round 5
Noel runs through James's dreams.

Noel says this has to fall one way or the other now.

Banker time
The banker says the board is like a see-saw with £15k in the middle.

Banker's offer:

James' fiancée says that's an amazing offer, and she says she knows what he wants to do. The banker rings and says this is an interesting board and he has a gamble for James. He says if James no deals and opens a blue, he'll make an immediate offer. The banker rings again and makes chicken noises down the phone. James says his football team has won trophies, and the banker says that's good if he can open the boxes with his feet!

James' fiancée says he mustn't think about the banker's proposal, as he's likely to take a red out in the next round. The banker rings back and says James is a hen-pecked coward! Gary says James has already got away with one risk.
