Candi's Deal or No Deal Game Report 16/08/11

Candi has box 4. Noel talks about how Candi has a cold at the moment, and had some Lemsip last night! Candi shows a pic of her mum who brought her up after she was put into care, and she shows some other family photos and gets quite emotional. She also has a card with her that her mum gave to her when she started uni. Noel introduces us to Candi's family and friends in the audience.

Candi talks about her uni course, and says she's a store supervisor in a ladies' fashion store.

Candi talks about the importance of the money in terms of her and her family. Keith says even though £7,000 is a lot of money for Candi and her family, he thinks there's at least one more round in it.

Noel says it's funny that Candi's studying English linguistics and she always says "like"!

Banker rings and says Chris has 3 minutes to prepare himself to do his boat-rowing dance.Noel gets Chris to go on the walk of wealth, and they do some special camerawork on the board. The banker says he'll play some music while Chris dances, and if he stops before the music stops, then Candi won't get an offer. Chris is made to do his rowing dance all around the studio before he's allowed to stop.

Candi starts to get quite emotional as she thinks about the money. The others offer some advice, and Candi says she doesn't know what to do. Loz says there's no right or wrong thing to do, but he'd risk another round if this was his game. Candi says this is a chance that she won't have again.

Candi has difficulty choosing the next box, and goes for 13 before choosing 1...

Banker time
The banker says cynics will say these are just boxes and just pick them, but there's also an emotional side to it. He says he'd have offered £10,000 if the £100k hadn't come out.

Round 6
Noel says he hopes that wasn't a rash decision is £600 is a lot of money for a student.

The others offer Candi advice and ask her how she'd feel if she went on and won a blue, but she says she'd also be devastated if she missed out on £10k. Her friends and family say £3k is a lot of money and Candi could do a lot with it. Candi says she never expected to be in live play at this point and she's tempted to go for it, but she has no idea what to do.
