Gurpal's Deal or No Deal Game Report 30/08/11

Gurpal has box 11. Gurpal is from London, but originally from Uganda. We see a picture of Gurpal's Mum & Dad taken shortly after they were married in the 40's. Gurpal talks about how he came to the UK in 1972.

The Banker says the last round has marginally gone in Gurpal's favour.

The Banker says Gurpal was brave for going on, and it will be taken into consideration when he makes this offer. Noel went to put the phone down, and then the Banker apparently changed his offer at the last moment.

Gurpal says he could deal with the disappointment, and the Banker then rings up to get Noel to ask Gurpal the question.

Gurpal says

Round 6
Noel says this is going to be one of the most amazing climaxes we've had, and is frightened for Gurpal and thought he would take £21,000.

The Banker rings up and says Gurpal should have taken £21,000, but wants to offer Gurpal a lifeline and is making him an offer now

Gurpal says to the mid-round offer

The Banker rings up again and makes Gurpal another mid-round offer.

Noel says this is right up there in DoND history as one of the most important decisions ever made by a player.

Noel opens Gurpal's box 11 to reveal £5

Vivienne opens box 8 to reveal £250,000.

Gurpal says he really thought the £250,000 was there. Noel says he will never ever forget Gurpal's game, and that Gurpal remained true to his word.
