Andy's Deal or No Deal Game Report 08/07/11

Andy has box 11 today. Andy is studying civil engineering, and explains how he got interested into it, and talks about what he will be doing after his studies, and he hopes to advance a career in the field. We get to see a family picture, Andy has his mum and friend in the audience for support today. Andy shows another picture of him in the territorial army, and explain a little about it, and how he would love to be a pilot, and would love to fly helicopters, which excites Noel.

The Banker calls and says he is a nice guy and tries to cheer Andy up by speaking to him, he then tells Andy another joke.

Jade gives us a joke, but receives deathly silence for it. The Banker calls and says that joke was so bad there was tumbleweed in the studio! He then tells Jade that if she can't make the pilgrims laugh with another joke then Andy's next offer will be 1p! Luckily Jade's next joke gets a laugh.

Noel says that Andy looks very competitive and is fighting this. The Banker thanks Jade for her joke, even though Andy already told that one earlier in the week. The Banker then gives us another joke.

That is a huge improvement on the previous rounds says Noel. Noel talks about the chances of Andy winning the 1p, and says it is highly unlikely, but the Banker calls and says he has a 1 in 8 chance at the moment.

Andy gets advice from his mum and Candi, Charlotte says that the Banker is trying to play on his emotions talking about Em's game.

Noel asks what are the chances of the 1p coming to the table again today, and the Banker calls and says 1 in 5. The Banker says that Andy has no back up on the board at the moment, but if he keeps the top 2 in play it will be to his advantage. The Banker asks for a little negotiation with Andy, and tries to find out what target Andy has, but Andy won't reveal anything.

Noel asks about the conversation, and Andy confirms that the Banker was after a target, but Andy says that isn't a good idea giving him a target. Andy's mum says that he could do a lot with £13,000 and the next round could go horribly wrong. Andy gets more advice from the wings, and then the Banker calls and says he loves it when the contestants have just seen a 1p win.
