Deal or No Deal although initially appearing very simple in format of just opening a few boxes for the chance to win some big money prizes, actually has some potentially complex decisions to be made at points throughout the show, the contestants occasionally try complex or simple gameplay in an attempt to give them an edge in beating the Banker.

Julian's Deal or No Deal Game Report

Noel welcomes us to Wednesday in the dream factory, and he promises that things will be different today and the big wins will return!

It’s Julian’s turn to take the walk of wealth today, and he has box 3 today. He asks if he can do one thing before he talks to Noel and he rushes off to give his wife Myra a kiss in the audience. He's been married for 25 years and has 5 children, he tells Noel he is a big family man and has a large extended family. Hope that the banker doesn't play on this with emotional twists to his offers!!!!

Round 1
Julian picks newbie Tess first, and then changes his mind, but does go to her in the end!
4 - £750 Big cheers for the first blue
22 - £100,000 BIG groans for that one, Julian encourages everyone to make some noise.
5 - £20,000 More groans
1 - £5 That's better says Julian
18 - £1 More cheers

This is the bit he's been waiting for says Julian, he thinks that the banker hates him!!
But he wants to give him a game... The banker says that Julian is the only man on earth in competition with his own shirts! I thought Noel would be in that competition as well!! The banker has a certificate of valour for Julian which Noel reads out, Julian is now to be known as "The windbag of the west wing"!!! The banker then offers £1… Noel reveals that there is £15,000 in front of it after a LONG pause. So the offer is £15,001, Julian says NO DEAL

Round 2
Julian says he is really enjoying this and it's great fun, Noel tells him to get on with it!
17 - £10 Big cheers and shouts

Noel asks why is so difficult once in the crazy chair, Julian says it's because you have to open more than one box unlike while on the wings. Julian's wife tells Noel that she gives him a kick in the foot to shut Julian up when he rambles on!! Noel then tries this out!!
Julian goes to Rich, our worst predictor ever says Noel!! Rich says he thinks he has the 1p.
7 - 50p Very close Rich Still not got one right yet though....

The banker asks if Julian is really 60 and asks if he was pickled when he was younger!! He then offers £1 with £22,000 in front, £22,001… Julian's wife Myra says that there is at least one more round in the game. Julian says NO DEAL

Julian says if you compact that down it looks a good board, he then encourages the banker to call. Noel tells him not to wind up the banker! As Noel answers the phone he sneezes and says it's the first time he's done that on TV!!! The Banker offers £26,001, Noel says that the banker is starting to use his games now, but Julian says that £26,000 is not enough with the board the way it is at the moment. Julian says NO DEAL

9 - £500 Julian says he can't believe his game at the moment

19 - £5,000 That's OK says Julian
Noel builds up the drama for a big money payout.

15 - £50,000 NO NO NO NO NO says Noel

Julian says he would have liked to keep that one, but he still has some big money in play. The banker says that was a help to him there, he is going to reward Julian's honesty and admits that he has never struggled so hard in trying to produce an offer. He makes an offer of £30,001… Myra joins Julian at the pound table for support. He asks Gus what he would do, he says he would play on until the end with that board. Julian says it's a very significant sum of money, but NO DEAL

Noel says that was a big decision and hopes it's rewarded now

The banker calls really quickly and says Julian had real courage in turning down the last offer, he offers £13,001. There are a few groans for the offer, but Julian remains positive and says who wouldn't like £13,000 in their bank account. Steven gives Julian some advice, which Julian thanks him for as great advice. He then says NO DEAL

It’s time for the Banker time with £100 and £1,000 remaining. That's a disaster isn't it says Julian, Noel says he is so sorry for him. The Banker offers £551, Julian says NO DEAL

The banker calls back and offers the SWAP, Julian says NO SWAP


Noel opens Julian’s box 3 and reveals £1,000, Box 16 contains the £100

Julian says his whole time on the show was all about the experience and not the money...
