Paul's Deal or No Deal Game Report 05/09/11

Paul has box 2. Noel says Paul looks like he's come off a building site! Paul is a student P.E. teacher, and he talks about his favourite sports. Paul has his girlfriend in the audience, and he shows a pic of his parents and a pic of his gran. He explains that she used to walk 5 miles every day to take him to school.

The banker says he's been looking forward to this as Paul is a very good reader of the board and the banker, and he says Paul's going to make the offers! Paul promises to be sensible, otherwise the banker will say "no deal" and Paul will get no money!

Noel says he didn't realise we'd be throwing all the rules out when he said we'd be starting afresh!

Round 2
The banker rings up and has a go at Noel for making a factual error about where Paul went to school! Noel reveals Paul is 20 and Paul says Annie thought he was 27! Noel then srcuffs himself up in honour of Paul.

Paul says he wonders what the banker's thinking, so he speaks to the banker. The banker and Paul discuss this offer.

BIG gasps from the audience greet that box.

Banker time
The banker says the bad board hasn't given the opportunity for Paul to fulfil the banker's twist. He says the average of the board is just over £500. Paul suggests an offer of £500 and he says it's too high.

The banker says he's done a deal with Paul, and that he can go on one box at a time, but there'll be NO offer now. Noel says this is basically a 4-box round now.

Noel says the banker's taken control of the offers now.

Noel says the offer probably would've been more if Paul had negotiated one at 5-box, as he still had the £1k in play then.

Noel says some people may have tuned in late and think Paul's a bit cocky, but Noel says Paul's playing this brilliantly.

Banker time
Paul says he wants the banker to speak to his girlfriend, so he persuades the banker to talk to her. She then says she's put her foot in it, as she says he gave him an offer and then she said it'd be enough for her but not for Paul.

Banker's offer:
£370

Paul and Noel pester Paul's girlfriend over what she said to the banker! Paul says he doesn't want to go home with 1p or £5.

Round 6 - Box 3

6 - Mark - £3,000

Banker time with 1p and £5 remaining...

Paul and his girlfriend argue over why he went for that box! The banker says he's dreamt of this day - a blue win and a relationship ruined! Paul says the banker will never ruin their relationship.

The banker says he wants to negotiate with Paul's girlfriend over this offer! She says it should be £4 and she's not backing down.

Paul has £5 in his box.

Box 4 with Nyomi contains the 1p

Noel says he feels a bit cheated by that game as Paul was such a good board-reader.
