Tina's Deal or No Deal Game Report 05/01/10

Noel says contestants often say they'll go for it as they came with nothing. He says that's not true as they come with their hopes, dreams ... and family! He speaks about how Stephen's wife yesterday cost him £10,000!

Tina has box 5. We get some appropriate pop music as she walks down the walk of wealth. Tina is from Harlow and she works as a care assistant. She speaks a bit about her job and says how much she likes it. She has her mum in the audience today, and we get to see a pic of her parents, boyfriend and son. Noel says if Tina wins a lot, she'll put the money towards her wedding. She has a miniature laughing Buddha with her today.

Round 1
Tina has a system, which she says she's cut down as it was too long and confusing at first! She has little red boxes painted on her nails and each box has a number! Of course she doesn't have 22 fingers, so she'll use a complicated finger addition system to work out what the rest of the boxes should be.
4 - newbie Ben - £50
3 - Shell - 1p
9 - Carmine - £10,000
There are groans but Noel says that's alright.
13 - Debbie - £1
Noel says this is nail biting.
8 - Courtney - £250

Banker time
The banker says Tina is a force of nature and that she and her mum are a troublesome twosome! He says if you dried Tina out in an oven, she'd look like her mum!!

Banker's offer:
£9,000

Tina says
NO DEAL

Round 2
20 - Glenda - £35,000
6 - George - £500
Noel says he's trying to stop Tina getting too tense!
14 - Bel - £5,000

£11,500

Tina says
NO DEAL

Round 3
16 - Nat - £20,000
Tina says £11,500 is a lot of money but she says she's due a little bit more!
11 - Chris - £1,000
19 - H - £15,000

Banker time
Noel says that was an all red round but she still has the top 4. The banker says Tina's comment about being due more was fascinating, but the game doesn't respect those who deserve it. He says a good gambler knows when to fold.

Banker's offer:
£14,000

Lyn says she still has 4 fantastic amounts on the board. Tina says she could do a lot with £14,000 though.

Tina says
NO DEAL

Round 4
10 - Mark - £750
18 - Beth - 10p
Noel says they're struggling to remember when the £250k last came to the table, and says it was months and months ago.
7 - Mo - £250,000

Banker time
Noel says this is still a strong board but the banker says he's relieved. He says the offer would've been £30,000 if Tina had just had an all-blue round!

Banker's offer:
£10,000

Tina says she's had a lot of bad luck in her life, and she says this is a tough decision. Noel weighs up what could happen in the next round.

Tina says
NO DEAL

Round 5
Noel says he jumped then as he thought she was dealing! He says that was very brave of Tina.
2 - Lyn - £50,000
22 - Adam - £3,000
15 - Tom - 50p

Banker time
Noel says it's not perfect but it's pretty good. Tina gets very emotional and Noel has to get the tissues out for her. The banker says he thinks Tina planned to have a poker face but actually she's wearing her heart on her sleeve, and he thinks she's shown a lot of courage.

Banker's offer:
£17,500

Tina says "oh WOW"! She asks her mum who says she should deal. Harold says it's cash in the hand!

Tina says
DEAL

Round 6 (proveout)
21 - Harold - £100
12 - Jardi - £100,000
1 - Al - £75,000

Banker time with £5 and £10 remaining

Banker's offer would've been:
£7.50

Tina has £5 in her box 5

Box 17 with David contains the £10

Noel says that game was an eye-opener, and Tina says it's going to be a DEAL to getting married to her boyfriend.
