Deal or No Deal although initially appearing very simple in format of just opening a few boxes for the chance to win some big money prizes, actually has some potentially complex decisions to be made at points throughout the show, the contestants occasionally try complex or simple gameplay in an attempt to give them an edge in beating the Banker.

Chris' Deal or No Deal Game Report 17/01/10

Noel hopes we are all having a wonderful weekend, and then refers back to Friday as he thinks it will have a big influence on today as Adam got an extra £2,500 out of the Banker and lied to him to get it and then went on to spank the Banker

Chris has box 14 today. Chris is a retired supermarket assistant, and tells Noel she retired as she is old now! She has her husband in the audience for support and tells how they met and got married. We gt to see some family pictures, and she also a small black cat that she has brought along for some luck.

Round 1

Chris gets rid of the cat!
Glenda next and Noel says he wondered where he left his car rug, having a dig at Glenda's dress! Glenda replies that he left it in her room

Noel says getting rid of the cat seems to have worked, and he then sends it off to the Banker for luck

Banker time
That was a big disappointment at the end says Noel. The Banker calls and says 'Guess what brought me luck'! The Banker says that Chris will never see the cat back now, and Chris will need 9 lives to win big money!

What are you doing asks Noel. Joyce encourages Chris, and Chris decides to go with Joyce next...

Oh my word says Noel.. Chris thinks they should get the cat back.

Banker time
The Banker sends the cat back for Chris, but there is a note in the box that says the cat is dead!! The Banker then laughs down the phone at Chris and tells her she isn't getting it back as it is bringing him so much luck!

Noel gets Chris to tell a story about a pet shop, and she says she hates mice and went into a pet shop to get some fish food and then saw some mice behind the counter and threw the fish food in the air and ran out of the shop!!

This is starting to be a classic turnaround game says Noel. The Banker thanks the newbie for nothing The Banker says he caught a mouse this morning and has saved it!

The Banker says there are 2 things giving him pleasure at the moment, he is putting the mouse in a box for Chris and he has also taken away a family heirloom from her that she will never see again!

That is a very clever offer says Noel, and he thinks it will give Chris a very tough decision. Chris asks for a sweep of the wings. The Banker calls back and asks if it would make it easier if he rounded it up to £16,000, and Chris says it would. The Banker says he will offer £16,000 if he is allowed to send out a red box with a mouse in it and Chris has to look at it!

The Banker calls back and says the game is not over and sends out a red box for Chris to open as it was part of the deal! Chris opens the box very slowly and finds her black cat inside.
