Al's Deal or No Deal Game Report 21/01/10

Noel says he started Debbie's game by pointing out the different clubs that have formed from the games, 1p club, 3rd round dealer clubs, but Debbie created her own club yesterday, the 13p club. He then remembered there is still one club with no members - The male £250,000 club

Al has box 20 today. Alan Gibbon, and Noel says he must have got some stick with his surname when younger! Al used to work in a call center, and decided to change his line of work one day and phoned around convincing people he was up for a complete change in line of work and is now a senior support worker. Al has his partner in the audience for support today. We get to see some of Al's family photos. Noel asks Al if 20 means anything to him, it doesn't but there are some numbers he might be saving.

Noel thinks the Banker will be thinking that the Banker will be thinking he can get Al now and put him under pressure. The Banker calls, but the newbie Linda starts to tell Al something, and Noel thinks she is being VERY brave interrupting the Banker. Linda tells Al that although he has taken out those reds he hasn't really dropped the average. The Banker agrees with the statement about the average, but you only get to play this game once and you can't really make a mistake.

Banker's offer:

Al talks about the difference of being brave or silly. Noel says if Al is brave and gets a good round the Banker will have to respect the bravery and the offer will be massive.

Al says

1 - £100,000 Jean
21 - £500 Justin

Banker time with 10p and £750 remaining

Banker's offer would've been:

Noel opens box 20 and reveals £750
Joyce with box 22 contains the 10p

Noel says if he was really cruel he could say that Al bottled it, but Al had told him that his target was £20,000, and he was actually brave to stop there when he could have been drawn into the moment with the top 2 still in play.
