Rossano's Deal or No Deal Game Report

Deal or No Deal returns for the eagerly awaited third season. I hope everyone has had a great break for the summer.

The show opens with a new opening title sequence that features some of the past contestants. As Noel welcomes us to a new season he shows us around the new set, which has different lighting and changes to the Deal or No Deal signs dotted around the studio. He also promises us loads of new surprises for the third season, and there is a new format to the viewer’s competition. Before we get under way, Noel introduces the newbie Ron.

It’s Rossano’s turn to take the walk of wealth today and get the new season under way. He has box 16 today, and tells us his name comes from the film South Pacific, that his mother saw while having him. Rossano runs his own removals business, and hopes to win enough to get a bigger van, or the jackpot so he can retire and buy a bigger van for his van to take over the business!! He has a lucky number 5, and he tells a little story of how he chose a horse whose number was 5 and it came in 5th!!!

Round 1
22 - 50p
9 - £3,000
4 - £50
13 - £10
21 - £75,000

There is also new music as well now whilst waiting for the banker to call. Noel asks the banker if he had a good break, and he replies that he closed 6 charity shops!!! And stole sweets from children, so it was a great break for him!! The banker believes that box 16 has £5, and makes an opening offer of £5.50. Rossano says NO DEAL

Round 2
19 - 1p
18 - £1
Rossano is going to avoid 15, which would be next in his system as it's his birthday, so is going with box 7 instead...

Noel calls a commercial break and this is where the format for the viewer’s competition changes. The box and amount to be won is chosen and announced now rather than at the end of the show. You then have until 11pm this evening to enter the competition, either via the charged phoneline, or the FREE online web entry. Today’s amount is £10,000, and the winner will be announced tomorrow...

Back to the game, and it’s Rossano’s last box before the banker offer…

7 - £750
An all blue round…

This is looking good now says Noel, and the banker could be looking at financing a whole haulage company rather than just a van! The Banker offers £15,050… Rossano goes to Vikki, who tells him the board is fantastic at the moment... Rossano says NO DEAL

Round 3
Noel stands next to Brian, and he thinks his is a hot one...
3 - 10p
17 - £5,000
1 - £250,000 A big build up for Brian, and he has it for the 5th time!!

The banker adores Brian, he says Brian reminds him of the Greek legend Cassandra, who could predict the future but was never believed, and he then offers £5,050… Norman gives us a little trumpet fanfare.... Rossano says NO DEAL

Round 4
5 - £100
10 - £10,000
6 - £100,000

Another sting in the tail round says Noel... The banker is now convinced that the £5 is in Rossano's box, and offers £5,050.50… Stevie tells Rossano that is not worth looking at, and Rossano says NO DEAL

Round 5
8 - £50,000
14 - £500
12 - £15,000

Rossano calls out box 2 next, but Noel pulls him up... The banker talks about the £5 still being in the game, and he wants Noel to pass on that he now has psychic powers this season!!!! He then offers £5,050.55… Alan tells Rossano that he thinks the banker is trying mind games with him, and he should give him a proper spanking!!! Rossano says NO DEAL

Round 6
2 - £250
11 - £5 Newbie Ron, and big cheers for the £5
20 - £20,000

It’s time for the Banker with £1,000 and £35,000 remaining… The banker says this is a difficult offer to make, and decides to pitch it at £10,050… Vikki says it's a fair offer for the board... Rossano talks about £1,000 being a nice holiday, and Norman says that £10,000 would be an extra special holiday... Rossano says NO DEAL

The banker calls back and offers Rossano the chance to SWAP...
Box 15 is Rossano's birthday box, but he says NO SWAP

Noel opens Rossano’s box 16 and reveals £35,000
Box 15 contains the £1,000

A fantastic game to kick off the new season, and a great victory over the banker.
