Deal or No Deal although initially appearing very simple in format of just opening a few boxes for the chance to win some big money prizes, actually has some potentially complex decisions to be made at points throughout the show, the contestants occasionally try complex or simple gameplay in an attempt to give them an edge in beating the Banker.

Alex's Deal or No Deal Game Report

Noel welcomes us to the dream factory and talks about the bad week we have just had, especially Claire's game on Friday where it never really got going, and never gave her a chance to win big. Noel talks about how anyone can be called out at anytime, and goes through the wings asking the contestants how many games they have done. Noel also talks about the banker's threat on Friday of the battle of the sexes, and wonders what he has planned…

It’s Alex’s turn to take the walk of wealth today, and he does so with box 13. Noel says it must have been a surprise for him today, as otherwise he would have dressed up!! Noel then asks Alex about the book he wants to write, and it's based around the demise of personal contact, and how now people tend to hide behind emails, and text messages... Noel asks if Alex is single at the moment, and he replies he is, and Noel tells him there will be waves of females heading for the dream factory now....

Round 1
4 - £50,000 OH no goes Noel...
15 - 1p
12 - £250,000 Not what we wanted says Noel...
22 - £5,000 Norman shouts, “lets prove the guys are luckier... “
1 - £100

The banker calls very quickly, and Noel doesn't get the chance to ask Alex how the game is going... The banker says he is very excited at how the last 2 games have gone, and he is now changing how he was going to compare males to females, because of what Norman shouted out in the round!! For 2 weeks he will only play males, and then for the following 2 weeks he will only play females, and after the month he will total up the winnings and see who is luckier... The winning sex will then get a great prize… He then makes on opening offer of £4,400…

Alex asks to write his target in the book, and reveals he has a little shopping list of a new car for his mum, and he would like to laser his eyes... Alex says NO DEAL

Round 2
3 - £500
20 - £20,000
Noel says he can sense rays beaming into his back, and he says its all the ladies in the audience staring at them.... Noel calls a break, and promises all the ladies he will reveal Alex's phone number after the break!!! It's viewer competition time now, and today is box 2 containing £3,000…

Noel apologises, as he can't give out Alex's phone number, as Emily in the audience wanted it first!! Alex writes his number down for her, and Noel runs up and gives it to her, and he finds out that she wrote her number down for Alex!!

18 - £1,000

Alex asks if he could speak to the banker, and the banker agrees... The banker gets Alex to ask if anyone in the audience wants his number!! Alex tells Noel that the banker said that he has tiny eyes like a stoat!!! Alex then says he was going to lie about the offer, but can't!! The Banker offers £8,800… Alex asks Norman if he would like to offer his wisdom!!! Alex says NO DEAL

Round 3
6 - £5
2 - £50
16 - £35,000 ARRGGHH NO, NO, NO, NO, NO says Noel

Alex says there are still 5 decent amounts on the board... The banker shows a picture on the screen of Emily's left hand, and it has a ring on her wedding finger! Emily says she is not married or engaged, and it's the only finger the ring will fit on... Noel says it’s frightening how the camera gets everywhere!! And for the contestants to be wary in case if appears at the hotel!!! The Banker offers £8,800… Alex says NO DEAL

Round 4
19 - £100,000
17 - £250
11 - £10

The banker is still going on about the ring on Emily's finger, and says he will give Alex enough to get a second engagement ring for her!! He offers £5,000… Alex says NO DEAL

Round 5
14 - 50p Newbie Stephen.... Perfect says Noel...
Alex says it’s looking decent now, and Noel replies not quite...
21 - £1
Find another blue and I'll say it's looking good says Noel
5 - 10p

A great all blue round for Alex, and Noel says that worked out the right way as you took out the low blues... The banker admits that was a turnaround... He offers £12,500… Alex asks for a quick sweep... There is a mix of replies... Alex then asks the audience, and again its mixed... Alex says DEAL

Round 6
8 - £75,000 That is such a good feeling says Noel...
9 - £15,000 Perfect says Noel
10 - £3,000

It’s time for the banker with £750 and £10,000 remaining, and he would have offered £4,400…

Noel opens Alex’s box 13 and reveals £10,000
Box 7 contains the £750

Noel asks to look at Alex's target, and reveals that it was that Alex wanted £15,000 + A girlfriend… Noel says that Alex just missed one of his targets, and then calls Emily down to the pound table to see if he can fulfil his other target…
