Imani's Deal or No Deal Game Report 24/08/10

Noel talks about the superstitions that the contestants have about the show, and how some contestants think that a bad start to the week sets the tone for the rest of the week, but thankfully yesterday Kevin produced a Banker Spanking and got the new season off to a great start.

Imani has box 6 today. Imani is from Manchester and works in a call center, she says it is not very exciting really as it involves calling people regarding debt management. She would love to set up a business to work with children, and she did set up some workshops a while ago with a government grant, but would like to do more on a business level. We get to see card with a picture of Imani and her fiancee who is in the audience for support today. Imani says that she was born on the same day as her fiancee and they often have arguments as to who was born first

Round 1
3 - £50,000 Martyn
10 - £1,000 Letty
Imani quotes a little saying that she wrote to help give her strength. The Banker calls and says that he is really touched by that and then recites one of his little ditties!
7 - £3,000 Daphne
11 - £250 Kenny
16 - £5,000 Janet

Banker time
Noel says that was good if you look at it that the Banker thinks to take out the top of the reds is the way to open the game.

Banker's offer:

Imani says

Round 2
12 - £250,000 Stephen
Imani says that there are still some big numbers to aim at.
21 - £35,000 Balbina
18 - £500 Paul G

Banker time

Banker's offer:

Imani says she can turn this around.

Imani says

Round 3
8 - 10p Jayne
15 - £100,000 Maria
1 - £10 Paul

Banker time
Noel asks if Imani has any feelings about her box, and she doesn't really have a feeling about it.

Banker's offer:

Imani's fiancee says it is a good offer, but thinks there is more in the game. Imani says she is drawn to a certain amount on the board.

Imani says

Round 4
2 - £75,000 Justin
Oh no cries Noel.
19 - £5 Linda
5 - £50 Andy

Banker time
That little block of reds looks very isolated now says Noel.

Banker's offer:

Imani wants to write something in Noel's book. She writes 'My future is determined by my fate, I believe'. The Banker calls and asks if she could also write down 'Milk, eggs, and bread' for him Imani turns to her fiancee and he tells her she should go for it and see how it turns out.

Imani says

Round 5
13 - 1p Danny
We can do this says Imani
17 - £100 Jade
Oh my gosh says Imani, Noel tells her to keep calm and focus.
9 - £1 Newbie Rachel

Banker time
Well we are really relieved at this point says Noel, and you have really turned this around now.

Banker's offer:

That is a really good offer and a lot of money says Imani, and it would take her a long time to save that up with what she earns in her job. Imani's fiancee then reveals that he is out of work at the moment and that is a huge sum of money. Imani says that would do a lot for them at the moment, and she came on the show looking for a sum that would make things easier for her and that amount would do that.

Imani says

Round 6 - Proveout round
4 - £10,000 Caroline
14 - £750 James
20 - £20,000 Dan

Banker time with 50p and £15,000 remaining

Banker's offer would've been:

Noel opens Imani's box 6 and reveals £15,000

Max with box 22 contains the 50p

Imani says she feels a little disappointed but just couldn't take the risk.
