BBC PRESS RELEASE - BBC Press Office
Noel Edmonds makes his return to BBC ONE on Saturday 23 September as the host of National Lottery Day – nearly 12 years after he presented the first ever Lottery show on the channel.

The show is a two-part 90-minute extravaganza celebrating the Good Causes the National Lottery has supported over the last 12 years.

The National Lottery – Everyone's A Winner is a one-off exciting game show played live on the night, with celebrity guests playing alongside contestants in the studio, at home and at Lottery-funded locations around the country for a chance to win big prizes.

The show will also reveal the winners of the National Lottery Awards, which celebrate the inspirational work of Lottery-funded projects, and cover some of the special National Lottery Day events taking place around the country.

Noel Edmonds said: "I relish the opportunity of once again hosting a major live TV event for the BBC, and look forward to developing exciting new programme ideas compatible with my long-term commitment to Deal or No Deal."

Peter Fincham, Controller, BBC ONE, added: "Noel is a presenter of immense talent and it is great to have him back on BBC ONE - this marks the beginning of a new chapter between Noel and the channel, we hope he will present more innovative live TV specials."

Since it began in 1994, the National Lottery has raised £18.6bn for Good Causes, with more than 240,000 grants awarded.
