Deal or No Deal although initially appearing very simple in format of just opening a few boxes for the chance to win some big money prizes, actually has some potentially complex decisions to be made at points throughout the show, the contestants occasionally try complex or simple gameplay in an attempt to give them an edge in beating the Banker.

Pauline's Deal or No Deal Game Report

Noel welcomes us all to the dream factory, and hopes we have all recovered from Graeme's game on Friday. He runs through how the unluckiest man in the world turned his game around totally and won a fantastic £101,000.

It’s Pauline’s turn to take the walk of wealth today, and she has box 2. The box is piled up with various things, which include a lucky Buddha, and a lucky duck! She has her sister in the audience for support today, who reveals that Pauline’s nickname is Paulus the Wood Gnome!! Her sister explains the name comes from her childhood when she watched a kids TV programme. Her dream is to have some plastic surgery and says she'll need the £250,000 for it!! Pauline has all her numbers already picked out that she will be using…

Round 1
11 - £75,000 Groans for the first of the power 5
19 - £20,000 More groans, and Noel tells her not to panic after Graeme's start on Friday
17 - £100,000 More groans, and Noel says you might be pushing it now!
4 - 10p Newbie Juliah gets cheers for the first blue of the round
20 - £15,000

Wow, that was horrible says Noel, and Pauline replies that they have to go sometime in the game. Noel says that the banker is sounding glum, and he tells Noel that he feels like a chip shop fish, greasy, fat and battered!! Noel tells him that the lucky duck will kick in soon and it will quack on!! The Banker offers £5,000, and Pauline says it's a very good offer considering the board. Pauline says NO DEAL

Round 2
Noel has a peek at Pauline's list and runs over to PJ to warn him he's next!!
13 - £50 BIG cheers
1 - £250,000 OH NO says Noel as the groans echo around the studio
Noel says we need to turn this around now, and asks if Pauline will be sticking to her system? She is, so Noel calls in the lucky duck and places it on top of box 15, the next box.
15 - £10,000 opppss the duck fails

Pauline remains positive and says the £50,000 is still there to be won. Noel tells the banker that the duck is not all it's quacked up to be!! And the banker replies he won't be getting a big bill now! The Banker then sends out a new name badge for Pauline, she is now Paulus the wood Gnome! He then offers £2,500. Pauline says it's not how you start it's how you finish... Pauline says NO DEAL

Noel wonders if it is time for the lucky hat, Pauline thinks it is. Noel offers a choice of the summer or winter hat, and Pauline asks for one that matches her outfit, so Noel gets out the multi-coloured winter hat

Round 3
21 - £750
8 - 1p BIG CHEERS
Pauline's new badge falls off, so Noel runs over to put it back on, but does so upside down!!! He then runs back to correct it...
9 - £1,000

Noel says it's like a make-over show now with Pauline's new look! The banker phones and it's the Gnome edition of the make-over show! He then Banker offers £7,000.
Pauline asks her sister to join her, and she tells Pauline that the chances are she will take blues out now. Pauline says NO DEAL

Round 4
18 - £50,000 Big groans as the highest remaining amount goes.
There is still £35,000 on the board says Pauline
5 - £5,000 More groans, and a crumbs from Noel...
Pauline's lucky box 22 next, and blue chants start
22 - 50p Big cheers

Pauline says she is feeling fine and is still convinced the £35,000 is in her box. The banker says it's a one-box game now, and offers £3,000. Noel says that the banker has done his clever move of offering an amount that is on the board. Pauline again says it's not how you start it's how you finish. Pauline says NO DEAL

Round 5
Blue chants
6 - £100 Big cheers
3 - £10 More cheers
Blue chants
16 - £250 Big Cheers

Pauline gets her much needed all blue round, and Jeff calls out you only need 3 more and you've cracked it! The banker says he is in a tricky situation now, and offers £6,000. Noel asks Pauline what her first reaction was to the offer, and she replies if it was a little more she would have taken it. Pauline says DEAL

Round 6 - Proveout round
7 - £1 That would have been the perfect start says Noel
10 - £3,000
12 - £35,000 BIG CHEERS

It’s time for The Banker with £5 and £500 remaining. He would have offered £199.99

Noel opens Pauline’s box 2 and reveals £500
