Deal or No Deal although initially appearing very simple in format of just opening a few boxes for the chance to win some big money prizes, actually has some potentially complex decisions to be made at points throughout the show, the contestants occasionally try complex or simple gameplay in an attempt to give them an edge in beating the Banker.

Alain's Deal or No Deal Game Report

Noel runs through Roy's game yesterday and how he didn't want to be in the 1p club and took the deal. He asks the other contestant's what they would have done.

It’s Alain’s turn at the pound table today, and he has box 9. Alain's dream is to drop out of society and have a house out in the middle of nowhere so he can get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We get to see a picture of Alain's son.

Round 1
12 - £1
19 - £20,000
15 - £50
11 - 10p
18 - £15,000

Noel says there was a low moan after that round, but he doesn't understand why as it was a strong start. The banker is interested in the fact that Alain blushes easily and also that DoND could get Alain a girlfriend. He has some information that Alain is rather attracted to one of the production team! Noel then says he will formally introduce them and we see a pic of her on the gameboard. Noel says that Alain could be the first to deal at the opening offer, as Chiara is part of the deal!! The Banker offers £9,000 + Chiara's phone number!!!

Alain says this is a tough decision, and Noel asks if he would him to get Chiara out to help make the decision!! Noel then runs outside and gets Chiara to join Alain at the pound table!! Alain whispers something to Chiara and she replies that she doesn't think that was part of the offer!! Alain says NO DEAL

Noel asks Alain to talk him through the board, and Alain replies it's a great board at the moment. The banker is shocked that the phone number was turned down, and offers £17,500. Alain says NO DEAL

Round 3

2 - £75,000 Exactly what we didn't want says Noel
5 - 1p Newbie Stephen

Noel says he is glad he didn't make the offer of a kiss to the contestant with the 1p today!! Noel bluffs a stick and then says the banker doesn't like the look of the board at the moment. The Banker offers £22,000. Alain asks the audience to stand if they would deal, and no one does... Alain says NO DEAL

Round 4
7 - £500 Big cheers
Noel does a big speech about avoiding the large numbers...
10 - £50,000 Arggggh says Noel
14 - £1,000

Alain says he is chuffed to bits, and the banker says he is blown to bits!! He then offers £30,000.

Alain says he needs to seriously think about this. The banker calls back and asks to speak to Chiara again!! Noel calls her out to the pound table and she chats with the banker, she then hands the phone back to the banker and tells Noel that he will explain it all to him! The banker amends the offer to £30,000 + a kiss!! But he doesn't say the kiss is from Chiara! Alain says he needs a little more information and Noel agrees... The banker calls back and confirms that the kiss will be from Chiara. Noel tells Alain to concentrate on the money... Alain says DEAL

Noel says he is really pleased with that Deal, as the money means a lot to Alain and he has never had money like that before.

Round 5 - Proveout round
20 - £5 It was the perfect start says Noel
21 - £5,000 Totally acceptable says Noel if you had played on
4 - £10 Big groans

It was almost the perfect round says Noel, and The Banker would have offered £66,000. It's a lot of money that says Alain, and he’s a little gutted

Round 6 - Proveout round
17 - £100,000
22 - £250
8 - £250,000 BIG CHEERS

It’s time for The Banker with £750 and £10,000 remaining. That was a close call says Noel. The Banker would have offered £3,000 + a kiss from the floor manager Gregg!!

Noel opens Alain’s box 9 and reveals £750
Box 16 contains £10,000

Alain says there is obviously regret with his deal, and Noel calls out Chiara to give Alain the second part of his deal.
