Jon's Deal or No Deal Game Report

Noel welcomes us all to the dream factory and says we are picking ourselves up after 2 horrible Sundays!! He talks about the ambitions that some of the contestants have, he says that Karen wants to be a wrestler, and Jon wants to get into the Guinness book of records…

It’s Jon’s turn to take the walk of wealth today, and he does so with box 5. Jon is a casino supervisor, and reveals that in the past he sold up everything and moved to Spain with his partner. Jon shows us a few pics of his family, and one shows his brother, who now lives in Australia who he would like to visit. Jon then demonstrates his coffin moneybox that he has brought along....

Round 1
11 - 1p The perfect start - Noel says it's amazing how the show twists and turns
15 - £50,000 Some groans for that one...
6 - £10
9 - £500
3 - £75,000 ARGGGHHH goes Noel

Noel says that round was shaping up really well, but it's not how you start, it's how you finish... The banker says the freezer defrosted yesterday!! He likes the coffin bank that Jon has brought along, as it reminds him of the pilgrims, in that they need a bolt of electricity through them!!! He then offers £8,630.52… The offer is a third of the average of the board.... Jon says NO DEAL

Round 2
20 - £15,000
10 - £100 Newbie Norman, he gives Jon a little fanfare
2 - £20,000 OHHHHH goes Noel...

Noel says this all started so well, and the banker calls and says this is going to be easy for him! Noel bickers with the banker and then hangs up on him!!! Noel then says we don't need the banker and we will just play on and open all the boxes and see what is left at the end!! The banker apologises and so the game continues... He offers £10,000… Jon says that is a good offer, but NO DEAL

Round 3
Jon tells Noel that if you add up all the numbers on a roulette wheel it comes to 666! Noel asks him what all the boxes add up to? Jon replies 253, but Noel is not really sure, as he has never bothered to add them up!!
14 - £750
4 - 10p
21 - £250

A great all blue round, and Noel says things are turning now. The banker says that Jon has livened up the pilgrims now... He offers £20,000

That has put the cat amongst the pigeons says Jon. He goes to his partner for her opinion, and he wants a kiss, but Noel says you aren't getting one from me!! Jon gets advice from the wings, and then says I think it's time for a bit of courage. Noel tells him that the banker always fears a calculated gambler, with a good run of boxes... Jon says NO DEAL

The banker calls back before the next round! He tells Noel that he was scared which is why he offered the £20,000, and he is now terrified!! He wants Jon to take the next offer... Both Noel and Jon are confused as to why he is saying this....

Round 4
12 - £10,000
19 - £100,000 OHHHHHH goes Noel
We are right on the edge of a one-box game now says Noel. Jon decides to call upon one of his lucky numbers next.
18 - £3,000

A red round, and a rotten red round says Noel... He then points out that we have to go right back to the end of March when the £250,000 was last on the pound table. The banker says he still can't believe that Jon turned down the last offer. Noel tells Jon to think really carefully about this next offer... The offer is £20,000

He's giving you a second chance says Noel... Alan tells Jon that unless he is going to go all the way, the banker has now offered him a lifeline... The banker calls back and Jon answers, he tells us that the banker confirms it is a lifeline... Jon says DEAL

Round 5 - Proveout round
8 - £1,000 That would have been good says Noel
13 - £35,000
You've got to find the £250,000 says Noel
22 - £1

Noel wonders if the £250,000 is sitting on the pound table. The banker tells Noel he would have been tempted to have stuck at £20,000 for the third time... He would have offered £25,500… Noel does his squander routine

Round 6 - Proveout round
1 - £5,000
16 - £50 NO shouts Noel, you have one last chance now...
17 - 50p

It’s time for The Banker with £5 and £250,000 remaining. OH MY WORD goes Noel, you are not going to want to hear this next offer.... The Banker would have offered £75,500. Think what you could have done with that if you had a little more self-belief says Noel. Jon says he would have dealt for that offer...

Noel opens Jon’s box 5 and reveals £250,000… There are gasps all around the studio and Noel chips in with "You blew it BIG time"
Box 7 contains the £5
