Ron's Deal or No Deal Game Report 17/05/11

Ron has box 19 today. Ron is a retired development engineer from Southampton, he tells us how he used to travel all over Europe trying to fix computers. Ron's big love is music, and he shows a few pictures of him in his band. We see another of his granddaughter, and he has his partner and friend in the audience for support.

Noel asks Ron's friend if Ron is a gambler, and he tells Noel that it depends. The Banker calls and asks Ron's friend to speak quieter as he has such a deep voice the things in his office are shaking.

Ron has a system based around a music scale.

Round 1
Ron says he is going to look at the boxes as a piano, and that should take him all the way to 8-box.
22 - £50,000 Irene
That was a bum note says Noel.
8 - £5,000 Dom
3 - £50 Toby
18 - 10p Carole
11 - £1,000 Yvonne

Banker time
I've seen worse openings says Ron. The Banker says he is a musical man himself, and is a master of the loot, and the fiddle

Banker's offer:
£1,234

Ron says
NO DEAL

Round 2
George next and Ron asks him not to destroy his game like he has to so many recently!
10 - £500 George
Rob next and Ron says that Rob lent him his deodorant the other day
15 - £100 Rob
2 - 50p Sam

Banker time
The Banker says that this system is confusing half the nation!

Banker's offer:
£12,340

Ron says
NO DEAL

Round 3
6 - £75,000 Tony
Well if you are going for the big one that doesn't really matter says Ron
14 - £100,000 Kerry-Anne
You've just had 2 bum notes there says Noel. Noel says he could join Stuart and Minnie in taking out the top 3 in one round.
16 - £250,000 Matt

Banker time
Can you believe that says Ron. Noel says that only 3 people have ever done that now and taken out the top 3 in one round. The Banker says that he loved that tune.

Banker's offer:
£333

That is one of the biggest crashes we can remember says Noel.

Ron says
NO DEAL

Round 4
7 - £10 Stacey
13 - £750 Ade
4 - £10,000 Ian

Banker time
That is the end of the scale now says Ron. The Banker says that was looking like an all-blue round, but that £10,000 makes a difference.

Banker's offer:
£5,678

That isn't bad says Ron, and Noel agrees it is good for that board. Ron goes to his friend in the audience, and he tells Ron to follow his heart. Ron talks about how different it is being sat there and watching the show at home where he would be saying things like 'why did they do that'.

Ron says
NO DEAL

Round 5
Ron is going random now as his system has ended.
1 - £3,000 Annette
5 - £20,000 Dean
On says Noel, and you are in trouble now.
9 - £35,000 Becks

Banker time
What a round says Noel, as the pilgrims gasp. The Banker says he thought Ron had a red in his box, but he doesn't think that now. The Banker says that Ron is in the do do now, the do do Ron, the do do Ron

Banker's offer:
£500

Ron says that is one of the poorest boards he has seen, but he is going for it.

Ron says
NO DEAL

Round 6
Noel talks about the other club Ron could be joining today, and that is the 1p club!
20 - £5 Emma
12 - £1 Newbie Danni
17 - 1p Francesca

Banker time with £250 and £15,000 remaining

You needed an all-blue round and ended up with the perfect round says Noel. The Banker says that a gambler would dismiss anything not close to the average, and he doesn't think that Ron is a gambler.

Banker's offer:
£5,500

The Banker says that the offer is tailored to Ron. Ron says he could do his musical hotspots trip with that money.

Ron says
NO DEAL

Ron says that he suddenly felt like gambling and he felt the £5,500 wasn't just enough.

The Banker calls and says that Ron's game is going to have a big finish one way or the other.

Banker's offer:
SWAP

Ron says
NO SWAP

Noel opens Ron's box 19 and reveals £15,000

Box 21 with Lucy contains the £250

Noel says that he is really, really pleased with that result, and it is quite amazing when you consider that Ron is in that elite group of 3 who have taken out the top 3 amounts in 1 round.
