Deal or No Deal although initially appearing very simple in format of just opening a few boxes for the chance to win some big money prizes, actually has some potentially complex decisions to be made at points throughout the show, the contestants occasionally try complex or simple gameplay in an attempt to give them an edge in beating the Banker.

Dean's Deal or No Deal Game Report 19/05/11

Dean has box 4.

Dean is originally from Zimbabwe but now lives in Birmingham, and he tells the story of how his mum moved to the UK. He says he has a dream to retire by the age of 30, and Noel says that's in 2 years' time! Dean says he's still a student in ICT and won't qualify until he's 30. He shows a pic of his girlfriend and their baby. Dean says he's very religious and his baby's name has religious connotations.

Noel tries to guess where Dean's going next, as he keeps looking at each wing!

Banker time
The banker says he's very excited about this game. He says he likes the photo of Dean and his girlfriend, as it has a great background of parked cars and bins.

Dean says

Round 2
Noel tells a story of how he proposed to his girlfriend, and he put the engagement ring in his mouth and kissed her and pushed it into her! He says he didn't want her to find the ring, so initially hid it under his gearstick in his car, and then Noel stops him and says and says we'll continue the story in 16 parts after the show.

Banker time
The banker talks about how filthy Dean's engagement story was. Dean then talks about a "fork and knife" and Noel wonders exactly what he said! Matt then gets the giggles and says he can't cope with this!

Dean talks about his little boy, and says the love he has for him is worth any box in here. He talks about how he never knew his dad, and he passed away when he was 11.

Noel says Dean's ambitions are coming into view now, and this game could end with success.

Dean says that feels good, but not right, and it feels like someone's phoned him and got the wrong number!

Round 6
Noel says he hopes Dean can make this work, as a lot would've dealt there. Dean says he wants to tell a story before the next box, and Noel puts his feet up on the table. He talks about how his wife spoke about a number in the 30s, and he thinks that links to the £35,000 on the board.

Dean says you can't always expect the highest in life, and you have to go with what you've got.
20 - George - £1,,000

Banker time with £50 and £3,000 remaining...

The banker says the last decision was either very brave or very foolish, and he thinks it was brave.

Banker's offer:
£1,500

Dean says that's fair enough. Dom says it's bang on the middle, and is down to a coin-flip now. George says he knows what Dean came for, and he says it doesn't mean it's not achievable now. Dean wonders if he's able to swap his box, and the banker rings and says he'll tell him after Dean's answered the question!

Dean says he wants the banker to know he runs the shots at the moment, and he asks the banker "swap or no swap". The banker says it's the wrong number.

Dean says
DEAL

The banker says he'd have phoned here and said "No swap".

Dean has £50 in his box 4.

Box 15 with newbie Leroy contains the £3,000

Dean says the money will do a lot, and he's going to spend it on his son.
