Fi's Deal or No Deal Game Report 06/05/11

Fi has box 9 today. Fi is a school bursar. We get to see a picture of Fi with her boyfriend, and Noel asks about her term 'Cougar', and Fi says that it is a lady who has a partner who is younger than them, and she is a massive cougar as her boyfriend is 17 years younger than her. She has her boyfriend's mum in the audience for support today. We get to see some more of Fi's family pictures.

Round 1
Fi says that she dreamt that her game may be more surreal.
5 - £5 Kerry
Noel says that Fi is known as the seal, as when she gets excited she claps a lot.
4 - £250 Carole
1 - £35,000 Newbie George
8 - £10 Becks
11 - £50 Lucy

Banker time
The Banker says he is enjoying this week, and wants to counter what Noel said about everyone continuing being brave, as it hasn't worked out well for most people. The Banker says that the word for a cougar in his day was cradle snatcher!

Banker's offer:
£7,000

Fi says
NO DEAL

Round 2
3 - 1p Matt
16 - £15,000 Suzanne
2 - £10,000 Wilf

Banker time
The Banker talks about his upcoming birthday, and it is his birthday week next week.

Banker's offer:
£9,500

Fi says
NO DEAL

Round 3
6 - £100,000 Abbey
Ouch says Fi.
18 - £50,000 Yvonne
That is a bigger ouch says Fi.
7 - £100 Ron

Banker time
This game swings in an instant says Noel. The Banker says it is an interesting board and the average on the board at the moment is just over £30,000, but lose the £250,000 and it drops to around £10,000.

Banker's offer:
£8,000

Noel says that last round has totally exposed her game now. Fi says that she wants to put some money away for her daughter who is 14, as she really wants to go to uni, and she is so clever.

Fi says
NO DEAL

Round 4
21 - £75,000 Harry
Ouch, ouch, ouch says Fi.
13 - £5,000 Sue
This is a huge box now says Noel
20 - 10p Toby

Banker time
That really is doing it the hard way says Noel. The Banker says that this is unbelievable and Deal never ceases to amaze him. He says the average is now £34,000, and this is where his instinct comes in now.

Banker's offer:
£12,000

Fi says he is good. This is a classic deal dilemma says Noel, as you have to now weigh up the risk/reward of playing on. Lucy tells Fi that sometimes to have to look at an offer and see if it looks like the peak of a game, and £12,000 could be the peak of this game. Fi writes down an amount that she saw in her dream in Noel's book

The Banker calls back and says that it was interesting what Fi said earlier about his and her instincts. He says that if Fi plays on and keeps the £250,000 in play he will offer Fi whatever she wrote in the book.

Fi says
DEAL

Round 5 - Proveout round
Noel says that he will reveal Fi's target at the end of the game
12 - £1,000 Rob
14 - £500 Dean
Now this is getting serious says Noel
15 - £1 Stacey

Banker time
What a round and what a 5-box says Noel. The Banker says what a fascinating situation Fi has created, as for the first time in the shows history we won't find out what this offer would have been until the end of the game!

Round 6 - Proveout round
22 - 50p Kerry-Anne
10 - £750 Michael
Oh crumbs says Noel.
19 - £250,000 Dom

Banker time with £3,000 and £20,000 remaining

This is an extraordinary game says Noel. The Banker says it is time to come clean now, and he thought Fi's target was low

Banker's offer would've been:
£10,000

Noel opens Fi's box 9 and reveals £20,000

Box 17 with Elaine contains the £3,000

Noel opens his book and reveals that Fi's target was £9,500, and that would have been her offer if she played on. Fi says she feels amazing and that will sort out her daughter for her first year at uni.

The Banker calls and says that this has been a unique game, and the Banker noticed something in Fi's eye when he made his 2nd round offer of £9,500, and that is why he knew her target was around £10,000.
