Andy's Deal or No Deal Game Report 28/03/11

Noel says he does it every single game, and talks about the experience of going down the walk of wealth, and says that is can really change people when they take that walk. He then takes the camera to give us a demonstration of the contestant's eye view of actually taking that walk. He wonders if it will change the person today.

Andy is an IT technician from Leicester, and he has been told he looks like Wayne Rooney and Shrek! He has his partner in the audience for support today, and he tells how they met when he had to change locations with his work. We get to see a picture of Andy with his daughter when she was born, he explains how she was born prematurely, and she has a very rare blood disease which means she will have to have a bone marrow transplant at some point, but she also has a short life expectancy Andy also shows a family picture.

Noel tells the Banker that Andy will take him for a lot of money today as he has the support of all the pilgrims. The Banker says he has noted that Andy has been good on the wings, and has also noted Andy's guess at the offer.

Andy says that is so much money to him and he could do so much with that.

Noel talks about it being a 5-3 8-box, and explains why he puts so much on the balance of the board at this stage. The Banker says it is not a board he would want to face, as it is a very tempting board.

Banker's offer:

Noel doesn't know what the £3.10 relates to, but Andy figures out it was the weight of his daughter when she was born. Andy talks about wanting to take his daughter to America as they are so far advanced in their treatments for his daughter's disease, and he doesn't like using up the charities money for any trips. Andy says this is a classic DoND scenario where when you play on you tend to hit 2 blues and 1 red. Andy turns to his partner and asks her to be totally honest in what she would do if their positions were swapped, she tells him she is totally behind him 100%
