Deal or No Deal although initially appearing very simple in format of just opening a few boxes for the chance to win some big money prizes, actually has some potentially complex decisions to be made at points throughout the show, the contestants occasionally try complex or simple gameplay in an attempt to give them an edge in beating the Banker.

Kat's Deal or No Deal Game Report 18/11/10

Noel reminds us about next week, when the show will be 5 years old. He says 2 of the show's greatest characters - Orry and farmer Clive - will be joining us next week.

Kat has box 10. Kat works with a train company and she explains that her fiancée has also been her husband! She says it went wrong first time and she now realises she shouldn't have kicked him out. Noel pushes her for more details and tries to get some gossip. Kat shows a pic of her 3 children, and a pic of her fiancée. Noel says he looks like Mel Smith and wonders if Griff Rhys-Jones is the best man!

Round 1
Kat says her box is important as the number 10 means a lot to her. She's keeping 8, 9, 20 and 12 to 5-box as she's getting married on 8/9/2012.

Fred now, and he does an impression of a train!

Round 2
Noel asks when Kat got divorced and she says it was a Friday 13th.

Newbie Jamie now, and Kat makes fun of him wearing lemon. Noel says if he mucks up the box opening, a lady in the audience gets it.

Noel says this game has been unlucky so far.
21 - Adam - £250

Banker time
Noel says Kat's very lucky, as a bird pooed on her and she once walked through a train with her dress tucked into her knickers. The banker says he can see the belief in her eyes.

Kat says that's a very nice offer.

Bill now, and we get to see the kilt he's wearing.

15 - Olympia - £1,000

Banker time
The banker says Kat hasn't done much damage to her blues, but he recognises that she has a belief that something good will happen today.

Kat says that's a very good offer.

Round 4
19 - Glenn - £5
Mary now, and Noel tries to have a conversation with her. She says she's been dancing with Bill and hurt her leg.
1 - Mary - £20,000
Kat talks about her mum and says she's her hero, and has done everything for her throughout her life. She says that last year her mum was told she was ill and wouldn't live until Christmas, but she's still alive.
2 - Antonio - £50

Banker time
Noel says that's only slightly improved. The banker says he thinks Kat has an unshakable belief.

Banker's offer:
£16,500

Noel says that's quite something for that board. Kat talks about the chances of having box 10 for her game, and she talks about what the number 10 means to her. Glenn says it's a fantastic offer but he talks about Kat's beliefs. Adam says she could destroy the game in the next round.

Kat says she's ready for the question and the banker phones. He says Kat's just as likely to find the £250,000 as she is to find the 1p. He talks about what the curiosity did to the cat!

Noel says he was surprised at that decision, as were a lot of others.
