Liam's Deal or No Deal Game Report 26/05/10

Noel talks about the run of games recently and says it looks like sometimes the players aren't in control as they say they don't know what to do, but he emphasises to them that they are in full control and can decide when they want to leave their game.

Liam has box 6 today. Liam is a trainee service engineer for a dental firm. Liam has a stuffed dog that her fiancee has had since she was 2, she is in the audience for support today. We get to see some of Liam's family photos, and tells the tale of one where he went to a place to see squirrels but there was a sign up saying they were ill and were all dying!!
Liam winds Noel up before the game by saying he didn't choose his box at random and was just given it!

Liam says he hasn't got any complaints as his top 2 are still in play. The Banker says it is finely balanced at the moment

Noel asks Liam if he has a target, and Liam replies he hasn't as he has a job and everything looks good.

Liam says he needs the 1p or 10p to get some balance back now, and then picks Clive with box 18, but Noel calls a break first. Noel holds Clive's hand and says that we must have a kiss!

The Banker says he was impressed by what Liam said at the end of the last round. He liked Liam's honesty and he rewards honesty.

Banker's offer:
£10,000

Liam says it is not a bad offer, and you need to get to 5-box with a big sum still on the board to get some decent offers. He says he is ready but then tries to involve his fiancee in the game and calls her to the pound table. The Banker then calls and asks to speak to Liam's fiancee and says that if she can talk him into it he will offer £12,000 now.

Banker's offer:
£12,000

Liam says he turned down £12,900 and talks about OHO. The Banker calls back and says that if Liam doesn't take this then the marriage is doomed!

Noel says that Liam matches the profile for the first male £250,000 winner.

That is a good result says Noel with the £20,000 backing up the £250,000. The Banker recognises Liam's bravery.

Liam says if he has to join the 1p club and ride around on that barge with De then that isn't a bad thing. Liam's fiance tells him to think of the £26,000 and not to be greedy. Liam says the £250,000 is more than smile money and he would be mortgage free, and his mind was made up even before the Banker made an offer.

Noel asks Liam if he would have kept his box. Liam says he always said he would SWAP.

Noel swaps Liam's box and he now has box 9

Noel opens Liam's box 9 and reveals £250,000

You sir should have been our first male £250,000 winner says Noel.

Oppps says Liam, but £26,000 isn't too shabby.

Lee opens box 6 and reveals £750.
