Laura's Deal or No Deal Game Report 28/02/12

Laura has box 12 today. Laura is a part-time sales assistant from Liverpool, and is part-time because she has a little girl. She talks about the store she works in and how she juggles looking after her daughter with her job. We get to see a family photo with her daughter and partner. Laura would love an intimate wedding, but her partner hasn't proposed yet, so Noel puts some pressure on him to propose by telling him to.

Round 1
Laura wants to keep a few numbers 13, 9 and 17.

Noel has to give Lucy some box opening advice as she struggled with her box.
11 - £250 James
10 - £10 Kath

Banker time
The Banker says that Lucy looks like The Hulk, and we wouldn't like Lucy when she is angry. The Banker wonders what is wrong with Laura as her partner won't propose to her.

Banker's offer:
£12,500

That is brilliant and I've never had that sort of money in my bank account says Laura.

Laura says
NO DEAL

Round 2
15 - £750 Keith
Noel says that he isn't so sure about Laura's footwear today, and she says that she has got another pair she's been wearing all the time but today she left them back at the hotel. The Banker calls and says that he has got Laura's shoes and she needs to be nice to him otherwise she won't see the shoes again!
19 - £35,000 Jess

Banker time
The Banker says we've seen quite a few boards like this recently and people should have dealt early as their games have crashed.

Banker's offer:
£16,500

Laura says
NO DEAL

Round 3

8 - £50 Donna

Banker time

Banker's offer:
£16,500

Laura says she really needs to think about his, and then goes to Damien for some advice. Laura says she isn't going to let herself go away from this game without taking some money with her. The Banker says that is a sensible comment from Laura, and there is only one way she can be sure of making that happen, and to try and convince her that it is a good idea to take the offer he send out an olive branch, and someone brings out one of Laura's shoes that she wanted.

Laura says
NO DEAL

Round 4
3 - £1 Jackie
18 - 50p Lynn
This is sensational stuff says Noel.
2 - £75,000 Niko

Banker time
Noel says he thinks that Laura is still in a really good position. The Banker calls and says he is not certain what to offer, and then asks to speak to Laura, he asks her what she thinks he should offer, Laura asks for a bit of time. Noel goes through the previous offers with Laura and thinks she needs to pitch a good offer here so the Banker takes her seriously. The Banker calls and says he has written a maximum amount he is prepared to offer, but if Laura says an amount above that then he won't give Laura an offer. Laura gets advice from the wings about the potential offer. Laura says £18,000. Noel opens the piece of paper and reveals the Banker's amount of £18,750.

Banker's offer:
£18,000

The Banker thinks Laura was very brave to say that amount.

Laura says
DEAL

Round 5 - Proveout
4 - £15,000 Zoe
7 - 10p Chris
20 - £20,000 Kingsley

Banker time
No, no, no, but it might not be a disaster says Noel.

Banker's offer would've been:
£23,000

Round 6 - Proveout
22 - £500 Dan
6 - £3,000 Carl
9 - £10,000 Mark

Banker time with £50,000 and £100,000 remaining

That was the perfect round at the wrong time says Noel.

£70,000

Box 13 with Carly contains the £50,000

Laura says she is gutted that she didn't have the guts to play on, but the £18,000 will do so much for her.
