Helen's Deal or No Deal Game Report 03/02/12

Helen has box 15 today. Helen is a care worker in a childrens home, and is very competitive, she says she can't help it and enjoys betting. We get to see a picture of Helen's son, and she has her husband in the audience for support today, and he says she never stops being competitive with him.

Round 1
Helen doesn't have a system
5 - £250,000 Brian
That is horrendous says Noel, and you need to recalibrate now to a £100,000 game.
11 - £1 Cynthia
12 - £10,000 Casey
18 - £250 Laura
19 - £1,000 Mike

Banker time
The Banker says he enjoyed yesterday, and he says hello Helen's husband and tells him to get ready for today. He says he has already had fun today watching Imani trying to heat her pudding at lunchtime and failing, and then realising that the microwave wasn't even plugged in!

Banker's offer:
£3,000

Helen says she hasn't got an amount she wants to deal at, she just wants to try and get the most out of her game that she can.

Helen says
NO DEAL

Round 2
16 - £15,000 Marios
17 - 10p Stephen
1 - £100 Jim

That's good says Noel, and he tells Helen to pick it up a bit. The Banker says he understands Helen's problem and Deal can be a lot different when the game doesn't play out as you had hoped.

Banker's offer:
£9,000

Helen says
NO DEAL

Round 3
8 - £35,000 Mathew
14 - £50,000 Jess
2 - £5,000 Alex

Banker time
The Banker says that he has one bit of advice for Helen, and she said she wanted to get the best from her game, and at the moment she is thinking backwards, she needs to look forward and towards the end of the game.

Banker's offer:
£6,000

Helen says
NO DEAL

Round 4
3 - £50 Irene
10 - £3,000 Candice
21 - £100,000 Imani

Banker time
That translates into a real problem for you says Noel. The Banker agrees with Noel.

Banker's offer:
£4,000

Noel thinks that is a good offer after that last round. Helen asks Greg if he would take the offer, and he replies that he would play on.

Helen says
NO DEAL

Round 5
6 - £10 Gabbie
4 - £500 Gill
22 - £750 Gregg

Banker time
That was a really important round says Noel. The Banker says that was Helen's first all-blue round, and he is concerned that might get her confidence back.

Banker's offer:
£10,000

Helen goes to Rich for some advice, and he says he would play on. Stephen says he would deal, as she took a big gamble just now. Alex says he would deal if it was him, and would also recommend that Helen should deal for herself. Imani tells Helen she needs to do what is right for her, and not listen to what others would do.

Helen says
NO DEAL

Round 6
Noel says that got him completely as he thought Helen was going to deal then.
20 - 1p Jackie
It could still go wrong says Noel, so he is not celebrating yet.
13 - £5 Rich
Now it can't be a disaster says Noel. The Banker calls and Helen says that she doesn't want any offers now.

The Banker tells Helen not to pick the final box and deal now for...

Banker's offer:
£22,000

Helen says she wasn't expecting that, she thought about £12,000. Helen turns to her husband and says that he wants her to take it doesn't he, but if he convinces her to take it and she has the £75,000 in her box she will never forgive him! Helen talks to Stephen and he tells Her that if she plays on she is unlikely to get that offer again, and Helen agrees with him. The Banker calls and says that is why he made the offer £22,000. Helen asks Rich what he would do if he was playing, and he thinks he would be tempted to play on. Helen says if the offer was around £18,000 she would be playing on. Helen says that she really wants to play on, but she can't believe he has offered her this much. The Banker calls again and says that if Helen takes the £22,000 and reveals the £75,000 in her box, she will be a loser, but have £22,000.

Helen says
DEAL

Noel SWAPS Helen's box 15 for box 7

Noel opens box 7 and reveals £75,000
