Deal or No Deal although initially appearing very simple in format of just opening a few boxes for the chance to win some big money prizes, actually has some potentially complex decisions to be made at points throughout the show, the contestants occasionally try complex or simple gameplay in an attempt to give them an edge in beating the Banker.

Fred's Deal or No Deal Game Report 10/07/11

Fred has box 4. Fred is from Wrexham and is a carpet-fitter. Fred shows a photo of him with a wrecked car after he'd been doing some banger-racing! He also shows a pic of their holiday destination last year, and he introduces us to his girlfriend in the audience.
Round 1
Fred has no system, although he explains he was going to prepare one.
5 - Max - £5
3 - Boniface - £50,000
Noel makes fun of the way Fred's legs work, and he asks Noel if he's jealous!
13 - Boo - £10,000
2 - Candi - £75,000
16 - Barnaby - £250
Noel has some banter with Barnaby about where he lives in London.

Banker time
The banker comments on how Fred hasn't bothered to shave today, and the banker says he sympathises! He says Fred walks like the men in The Great Escape when they have all the soil in their pockets.

Banker's offer:
£4,250

Noel talks about the possibility of Fred and his girlfriend getting married, and Fred's girlfriend remains silent.

Fred says
NO DEAL

Round 2
Noel talks about carpet-fitters using glue, and he thinks inhaling glue fumes has affected Fred! Jade next, and Noel asks her to do a dance move, but she just shuffles along the wing with her box.

Newbie Chris next, and Noel has some banter with him about famous people who have lived where he lives!

Noel says Fred's scary eyes are disturbing everyone!
11 - Cindi - £1,000

Banker time
The banker says he thinks there's something in the water, and he makes fun of Chris's comments about Florence Nightingale singing.

Banker's offer:
£9,000

Fred's girlfriend says the offer is really good, but doesn't say much else!

Fred says

22 - Alphonso - £5,000
Noel talks about the large height difference between Fred and his girlfriend!
15 - Ken - £100

Banker time
The banker says he's confident that Fred knows how to read the board.

Banker's offer:
£17,500

Max asks Fred what he wants to do with the money, and he doesn't say anything! So Noel tells everyone that Fred wants to upgrade their camper-van, pay off the mortgage, get a new car and help the family.

Round 4
7 - Glenda - £20,000
14 - Andrew - 1p
17 - Jacky - £10

Banker time
The banker says he has to get this offer absolutely right.

Banker's offer:
£26,000

Noel talks about the power of the banker's "governor" offer.

Fred says

Round 5
Noel talks about how he used to ask for the board to be taken away so people didn't get money fever.

9 - Charlotte - £3,000

Banker time
Noel says this offer will get an interesting reaction. He says the banker feels the game is slightly in his favour as Fred took out no blues just now.

Banker's offer:
£26,000

Andrew warns Fred that he could go home with nothing if he wiped the big 2 out, and he says the best offer if Fred left a blue with £100k, the offer could be £26,000 again. Noel says Fred has to keep the £250k in play to get a much larger offer. The banker rings and says he thought the last no deal was brave but it wasn't reckless, but this time it would be reckless as there are no backups. Candi tells Fred it's all or nothing now, and she'd hate to see Fred go away with nothing.

The banker rings and says he'd have rung here, to say depending on whether the £250k stays in, the next offer would've been £73,000 or 73p.
8 - Vinny - £1

Banker time with 50p and £250,000 remaining...

Banker's offer would've been:
£73,000

Noel says the governor worked for the banker.

Fred has £250,000 in his box 4.

Box 19 with Tony contains the 50p

Fred says he's gutted as he had a strong feeling to go on. Noel tells Fred not to beat himself up.
