Ted's Deal or No Deal Game Report 24/06/11

Ted has box 10. Em walks Ted and his guide dog up to the pound table. Noel mis-pronounces Ted's surname and Ted tells him off. Ted is from London, and is a retired dairy worker, and Noel talks about how he's 91. Ted explains how he was in the Middle East during WW2, and a bomb went off close to Ted's vehicle, which triggered his eyesight problems. He was invalided out of the army, then his eyesight came back for a while, and he went into the dairy industry. His eyesight went totally during the 1970s, and he got his first guide-dog in 1980, which gave him independence.

Ted has his service and pay book from when he was in the army, and a photo of Ted with his late wife. He says it wasn't love at first sight. Ted has some supporters with him in the audience today.
