Deal or No Deal although initially appearing very simple in format of just opening a few boxes for the chance to win some big money prizes, actually has some potentially complex decisions to be made at points throughout the show, the contestants occasionally try complex or simple gameplay in an attempt to give them an edge in beating the Banker.

Jodie's Deal or No Deal Game Report 06/06/10

Noel talks about the dreams of the current contestants, including Cheryl's dream of shoes and Ralph's dream of owning a motorbike and Jo's dream of owning a monkey!

Jodie has box 14. Jodie is an assistant crime scenes investigator from Bristol, and she says her job is rewarding and every day is different, but it can be quite challenging. We get to see a pic of Jodie's brother Daniel who is autistic and she explains that he can't read, and she'd love to help him to learn to read by paying for lessons for him. Jodie also shows a pic of her cat, and another pic of her tortoise!
She explains that her tortoise likes being rubbed and asks Noel if he wants a rub. She gives him one of her tortoise rubs, and Noel does a terrifying tortoise impression and Jodie rubs him under his chin!! Jodie's dad Andy is in the audience today.

The banker says Paul is a lucky git for getting to give Jodie the 1p kiss.

Noel says there's a crime associated with Jodie, and he says she fancies Gordon Ramsey! She says the main attraction is because he can cook and is a bad boy who swears! Ahmed now, and Noel asks how he is, and he says he's finding all this quite tiring.
19 - Ahmed - £15,000

Banker time
Jodie chooses box 8 with and the banker wonders what they're teaching CSI experts if they can't count to 3!

Banker's offer:
£12,500

Jodie says she's only here once.

Jodie says

Round 3

3 - Maurice - £1,000

Banker time
The banker says he doesn't know what her target is, so he's trying to guess how much she wants, and he guesses at £30,000!

Banker's offer:
£19,000

Jodie says it's still a nice board.

Round 4
1 - Chloe - £5
20 - Mikey - £3,000
10 - Logan - £50

Banker time
Noel says he likes this game enormously, and he says it's horrific for the banker. The banker says he's still convinced Jodie's target is £30,000.

Banker's offer:
£25,000

The banker says if Jodie says NO DEAL, she can open 1 box. If that 1 box is blue, he'll immediately make an offer of £30,000. But if it is NOT a blue, he won't make a call, and she'll have to open 2 more boxes before the next offer. Jodie says the 1-box offer is an amazing opportunity, and she's lucky to have it.

Jodie says

Round 5
If this box is BLUE, the banker will immediately make an offer of about £30,000.

Banker time
The banker says that was a massive gamble that Jodie took.

Banker's offer:
£30,000

Jodie says she can't believe this is happening to her! Noel says if she found the 2 big ones in the next 2 boxes, then it'll be a massive crash, however Noel also talks about what the banker would offer if she found 2 blues now. The banker phones back and talks about how Jodie's home and her garden, and how much she needs the money for her home. He says he's just signed a cheque for £30,000 and put it an envelope which has "There's no place like home" on it.

Jodie says

Round 5 (final part)
4 - newbie Del - £20,000
13 - Laurence - £50,000
The banker says he doesn't know what valuation to put on this box! He asks to speak to Jodie so he can be sure what offer to make. He speaks to her and Jodie says she's scared! She says he asked her how much the offer would go down, and she said "go down?!".

Banker's offer:
£41,000

Jodie says that would do everything and would secure their house, help her brother and have a great holiday. She asks her dad, who says it's excellent money.

Round 6 (proveout)

"OOOH MY WORD" says Noel.
6 - Cassie - £500

Banker time with £100,000 and £250,000 remaining

Banker's offer would've been:
£170,000

Jodie says that would've totally covered her mortgage and everything!

Jodie has £100,000 in her box 14

Box 11 with Mark contains the £250,000

"What a game" says Noel. Jodie says she'd be lying if she said she's not gutted, but she says the £41,000 is a great sum of money for her.
