Del's Deal or No Deal Game Report 29/06/10

Noel says we're having a wonderful time at the moment, as the games recently have had everything - twists, turns and one essential ingredient which is the gambling ability. He then talks about Cheryl's and Rose's games.

Del has box 19. Del is from London but his family are from Cyprus. Noel says Del does 'Delisms', and he says he once asked how old he was when he was born, and he once asked a girl where she meant when she said she had been admiring him from afar. Del says he has OCD, and he shows a pic of his perfectly organised kitchen cupboard!

Round 1
Del doesn't have a system...
12 - newbie Carly - 10p
3 - Cedelle - £35,000
10 - Christina - £500
11 - Dai - £750
8 - Daphne - 1p

Banker time
Noel says it makes a change to get rid of the 1p and 10p early on in the game. The banker says he's had to pay out £90,000 in 2 days! He talks about more Delisms, including how Del asked if electric cars use petrol and whether rabbits sleep.

Banker's offer:
£11,500

Noel says that's one of the best opening rounds and opening offers for a long time.

Del says
NO DEAL

Round 2
Noel asks how Del is doing this, and Del says he's just picking boxes!!
7 - Darren - 50p
Noel says Del's got a great run of boxes at the moment.
22 - Dave - £20,000
The banker phones and says he thinks Del will choose Dennis next, and Del says he's right! Del admits there is actually a system, and the banker's cracked it.

Banker's offer:
£11,500

Del says

Round 3

18 - Harry - £10,000
15 - Hayley - £100,000

Banker time
The banker says the £250,000 looks exposed now. He says the offer is designed to get Del out of the game and also to help people understand Del's system!

Banker's offer:
£11,500 + tin of alphabet soup

Del says that tin of alphabet soup would look good in his cupboard!

Del says
NO DEAL

Round 4
Jenks is still poorly today.
16 - Jenks (opened by Hayley) - £1
1 - Jez - £10
Noel wonders if Del's alphabet system will spell disaster for the banker
Noel shows us the neon sign in the studio which has been partly covered up to read "DEL OR NO DEL".

Banker time
Noel talks about how Del Boy could be our first male quarter-millionaire. The banker tells Del not to be a plonker.

Del says
NO DEAL

Round 5
20 - Laura - £15,000
4 - Maria - £100
Noel says Del can get the banker in the palm of his hand if he finds the last remaining blue.

The banker says that was a brave no deal that Del just did. He says if Del were a soup, his flavour wouldn't be chicken!

Del says Laura who won the £250,000 had her dad's birthday number as her box, and Del says he has his dad's birthday number as his box.
5 - Ovie - £50,000
6 - Paul - £1,000
The banker phones and says if the next box isn't the £250,000, the next offer will be at least £60,000. But the banker wants Del to stop now!!

Banker's offer:
£30,000

Del says
NO DEAL

Round 6 (continued)
17 - Rob - £5,000

Banker time with £250 and £250,000 remaining

Noel reminds us that the banker said he'd offer at least £60,000 in this scenario. Noel asks Del what he'd do with the money, and he says the first thing he'd buy would be a kitchen blind!

The banker says he has to come up with something neat.

Banker's offer:
£70,000

Del says he never thought he'd be at this point. Kelly says £70,000 is life-changing money and she doesn't want to see him win a blue. Noel says the decisions Del has made so far have been brave, and declining £70,000 would be remarkable. Cedelle asks what Del thinks he has in the box, and he says he thinks it's £250 knowing his luck!

Jez says if Del went on, he'd have to face his swap, and Del then says the box on the wings is his mum's birthday and his own box is his dad's birthday!

Del says
DEAL

Noel says the swap would be guaranteed here.

Del would've said NO SWAP

Del has £250,000 in his box 19.

Box 9 with Yvonne contains the £250

Del says WOW! Noel says what an insane game this has been.
