Deal or No Deal although initially appearing very simple in format of just opening a few boxes for the chance to win some big money prizes, actually has some potentially complex decisions to be made at points throughout the show, the contestants occasionally try complex or simple gameplay in an attempt to give them an edge in beating the Banker.

Carl's Deal or No Deal Game Report 19/03/12

Carl has Box 3 today. Carl Shirt is a house husband from Barnsley. He has a photo of his family, including one of his sons, who died age six weeks. He now does fund raising for families like his. He also has a picture his other son drew, which has Box 18 on it, and there is also a miniature trophey which he won on an adventure weekend.

Round 1
Box 4 with Joan - £250
Phyl next, and Noel chats to her about them playing card games together in a hot tub!
Box 6 with Phyl - £1,000
Box 1 with Kelly - £50,000
Box 14 with Maria - £75,000
Box 12 with Antonia - £250,000

Banker time...
Maybe my intro was premature, says Noel. The Banker was worried, but he is better now after that. He says Carl looks like Stan Laurel!

Banker's offer:

Boos for that!

Carl says:
NO DEAL

Round 2
Noel asks for a run of blues.
Box 9 with Jan - £1
That's better, says Noel.
Box 19 with Dan - 50p
Now find the penny, says Noel.
Box 10 with Sam - £15,000

Banker time...

Banker's offer:
£2,500

Carl says that's a good offer. Noel runs through Carl's ambitions.

Carl says:
NO DEAL

Round 3
Noel asks Carl if he wants some mood music. Niko plays a lively tune on his harmonica!
Box 5 with Wade - £750
Box 21 with Dave - £500
No sting in the tail, says Noel.
Box 20 with newbie Nichola - £5

Banker time...
We're coming back at you, says Noel to the Banker. Niko then says he wrote his harmonica tune himself, and gets a round of applause.

Noel says Carl wants enough money to marry his fiancee in Cuba.

Banker's offer:
£7,500

Carl goes to the wings for advice. Martin says the offer will probably double if the penny goes.

Carl says:
NO DEAL

Round 4
Is it asking too much to have a third brilliant round, says Noel.
Box 8 with Becky - £100
Box 11 with Paula - £10
This next box is huge, says Noel.
Box 15 with Lucy - £50

Banker time...
The Banker says Carl has had eight blues in nine boxes.

Banker's offer:
£12,000

Carl says his fiancee told him to think carefully at 8-box. He then says he have a secret figure that he'll stop at if he hits it. Eugenia tells him to follow his heart. Joan says it's a lot of money. Wade says it is real money. Carl says he had a dream that he won 105k, which he had to split three-ways, ending up with 33k. Carl then says his bottom is tweaking with all this tension!

Carl says:
DEAL

Noel says Carl told him he was going to go on, but changed his mind at the last minute.

Round 5 - proveout round
Box 7 with Craig - £3,000
We don't want that, says Noel.
Box 2 with Bob - £35,000
Box 18 with Martin - 10p

Banker time...
Ooh, says Noel.

Banker's offer would've been:

Round 6 - proveout round
Box 22 with Niko - £20,000
Box 17 with Kev - 1p
At least we don't have to see you two kiss, says Noel!
Box 15 with Eugenia - £10,000

Banker time with £5,000 and £100,000 remaining.

There are some cheers, as some think the 10k was the 100k! Carl remembers the dream he had about 105k, which is the sum of what is left!

Carl says the money will do a lot for him and his family.
