Deal or No Deal although initially appearing very simple in format of just opening a few boxes for the chance to win some big money prizes, actually has some potentially complex decisions to be made at points throughout the show, the contestants occasionally try complex or simple gameplay in an attempt to give them an edge in beating the Banker.

Tara's Deal or No Deal Game Report 19/04/11

Tara has box 1.

Tara is a manager of a children's nursery. She has an oversized cigar with her which is a gift for the banker. She shows a photo of her with her sisters in fancy dress, and another pic of her children. Tara has her dad in the audience today and he has a big beard and is a biker! She also has a 22-year-old love letter from her husband Andy, who's in the audience, and she also has a couple of good luck tokens.

Round 1
Tara reveals she has a wind problem, and gets everyone to do a lucky burp.

Banker time
The banker talks about newbie Wilf, who's dressed in a cowboy outfit, and he says it looks like Toy Story in a nursing home! He says this game is like the Jeremy Kyle show, and talks about whether Noel's the father or not!

Banker's offer:
£4,000

Tara says she could do a lot with that.

Tara says

Round 2
Noel says Tara regretted everything she did at her audition for the show, and she reckons the banker is called George!

Tara says she wants to go all the way.

Noel does an impression of Tara walking around the studio.

Noel runs through Tara's ambitions, including paying off the mortgage and taking her kids skiing.

Banker's offer:

Anthony says Tara still has 2 big reds left, but she doesn't have much backup, and her relatives say there's another round in it.

Round 4
Noel says this really is the pivotal round now.

Banker time

Banker's offer:
£10,000

Tara says her sister has Krone's disease and she wants to donate money to a charity for it, and she hopes to sell the cigar to the banker for £100. The banker phones back and is shocked that someone wants to give his money to charity!

There's a NEW OFFER...
Banker's offer:
£9,000

Tara is rude about the banker and says he may die if he smokes that cigar anyway! The banker rings back and likes how Tara threatened him with murder.

Banker's offer:
£10,000

Roy tells Tara to imagine the money stacked up on the table in front of her. Tara says again that she wants to go to the end. Fi says it's too risky to go on but Anthony says the offer would go up if she kept her 2 big ones.

12 - Michael - £3,000

Banker time
The banker says Tara's last decision was very brave, and he says he's focussing on the 1p and 50p.

Banker's offer:
£20,000

Fi asks Tara what her gut instinct is, and she says it's to go on. She asks her friends and relatives in the audience, and her dad tells her to take the money. Iain says the offer's right in the middle and it'll be a big gamble playing on.

Round 6 - proveout
7 - newbie Wilf - £20,000
Noel says that tells us nothing.
21 - Fi - 1p
Noel says she may have walked away from the 2nd most powerful final configuration.
22 - Dougie - £75,000

Banker time with 50p and £100,000 remaining...

Banker's offer would've been:
£35,000

Tara says she knew it, and thinks £100,000 is in her box.

Tara has £100,000 in her box 1.

Noel says the banker really got Tara there.

Box 16 with Roy contains the 50p

Tara says she didn't go on because of her kids.
