Deal or No Deal although initially appearing very simple in format of just opening a few boxes for the chance to win some big money prizes, actually has some potentially complex decisions to be made at points throughout the show, the contestants occasionally try complex or simple gameplay in an attempt to give them an edge in beating the Banker.

Mark's Deal or No Deal Game Report 26/01/10

Noel says he's still glowing from Courtney's game, and runs through what happened.

Mark has box 13 today. Mark is from Scotland and is wearing a kilt today. Mark was involved with sheepdogs, but got hit by the 2001 foot and mouth outbreak, so instead of sheep, he started using ducks!! We get to see a pic of Mark with his family, and another pic of one of his dogs rounding up a group of Indian runner ducks!

Round 1
Mark produces 2 boxes. He says he arrived at DoND on 1st January, so the boxes have whisky and shortbread for the banker. He also has a gift for Noel.

"Ooh ey ey ey" says Noel!

Banker time
The banker says he feels sorry for Mark's dogs having to round up ducks!

Banker's offer:

Noel says the offer has 2 ducks.

Mark says
NO DEAL

Round 2
2 - Emiliana - £10
19 - Yaser - £35,000
18 - Davey - £5

Banker time
The banker says the whisky is a bit strong and says he can't read the board properly! Noel convinces him that Mark still has the big values left.

Banker's offer:
£10,000

Mark says that's fantastic. He talks about how he'd like to help his family with his winnings today.

Mark says

Round 3
21 - newbie Zoe - £750
5 - Tracey - £20,000
That's ok, says Mark.
16 - Becca - £100

Banker time
The banker tells Noel that he loves him. Noel tells him that Mark's still got all of his power 5 and just took out the 3 lowest blues!

Banker's offer:
£13,000

Mark talks again about what he could do with the money. Mark explains how 13 means a lot to him as 2 of his relatives were born on 13th December.

Mark says
NO DEAL

Round 4
4 - Clive - £250
9 - Jo - £50
Noel talks about the tartan that Mark is wearing.
20 - Matt - £1,000

Banker time
Noel lies to the banker again about what's on the board! He suspects Noel is lying...

Banker's offer:
£19,000

Noel says he wants a 10% cut for getting the offer that high. Dave warns Mark that taking out the £250k will make the offer plummet. Mark asks if the banker will round it up to £20k! The banker phones and says he's sobered up very quickly now his arm has been twisted!

The offer is now
Banker's offer:
£17,000

Noel talks about what could happen on Mark's board now. Mark says he'd rather deal and have the £250k in his own box than win a blue.

Round 5
1 - Laura - 10p
Mark talks about a thumbs up gesture he does with his children, and he gets everyone on the wings to do it.
22 - Justin - £50,000
7 - Linda - £10,000

Banker time
Noel says again that there has yet to be a male £250k winner. The banker says he really sobered up when Mark no dealt the last offer.

Banker's offer:
£21,000

Dave asks Mark if the banker had offered £20k last time, would he have dealt, and Mark says yes, he would've dealt.

Mark says

Round 6 (proveout)
Mark says he's keeping box 10.
8 - Dawn - £250,000

11 - Mo - 50p

Banker time with 1p and £5,000 remaining

The banker says he's making a slightly different finger gesture now!!!

Banker's offer would've been:
£2,100

Mark has £5,000 in his box 13

Box 10 with Kevin contains the 1p

Noel says we've been overdue for a banker spanking, and this game will provide a legacy for tomorrow's player.
