Deal or No Deal although initially appearing very simple in format of just opening a few boxes for the chance to win some big money prizes, actually has some potentially complex decisions to be made at points throughout the show, the contestants occasionally try complex or simple gameplay in an attempt to give them an edge in beating the Banker.

Mike's Deal or No Deal Game Report 22/11/09

Noel thanks us for joining him at the weekend, and explains a little more about the contestants for the viewers who don't get the chance to tune in during the week. Mike has box 5 today. Mike People's wanted to be a rock start with long hair, and shows a picture of himself when he was 18 playing a guitar complete with his long hair Mike says that his wife isn't a big rock fan, but at the weekend his wife goes out for a couple of hours and he gets his rock hour where he does the housework to loud music

We get to see a picture of Mike's mum and dad, and also his daughter who has a message for the Banker of not to be mean to him Mike has a couple of his friends in the audience for support.

Round 1
Mike has a system, his daughter picked all the numbers out of a hat for him. Box 17 will be the last box.

Mike has memorised the whole system.

Box 5 would have been next, but Mike has this box.

Mike said his game would be a roller-coaster and it has started out that way says Noel. The Banker has a message for Mike's daughter, and as she picked the numbers and got rid of the £250,000 he won't be mean to Mike

Mike goes to Emma who says he has some good fall-backs on the board and even the small reds backing them up.

Mike turns to his friend and asks if he thinks the system is working and should he continue with it, he tells him to stick with it.

Mike is going to try something, and he asks all the pilgrims to close their eyes and think of Bert opening a blue!

Banker time
Noel tells Mike to get the pilgrims to imagine that the £75,000 is in his box

Banker's offer:

Mike goes to his friend who tells him to imagine what his wife would be saying now, and he tells her that is why she isn't in the audience with his today

Banker's offer:

Mike says that is good money. Mike talks about his dad and how is currently having surgery and they don't know which way it will go, so the next few months they will be travelling a lot to and from Ireland and that money will really help with that. Mike talks things through with his friends. Mike says he needs the money and is ready for the question. The Banker then calls back and says he will keep his promise to Mike's daughter and won't be mean to Mike, if he plays on he will be offered the average of the boxes remaining. Noel works out that if Mike plays on and keeps the £20,000 and £75,000 in play he will get an offer of about £47,000

Noel tells Mike he is amazing.

The whole studio erupts on that box The Banker says he has been outwitted by a 7 year old girl

Noel asks if Mike is now is a space where he thinks that £20,000 is a lot of money and it is worth a gamble.

Mike says
DEAL

What a fabulous game says Noel.

Noel opens box 5 and reveals £75,000

Flo with box 17 contains the £20,000

Mike says that £47,500 is life changing money for him and his family. The Banker calls back and says that he is thinking of playing out the show with AC/DC, on the condtion that Mike and Ronnie play air guitar in front of the game board
