Maria's Deal or No Deal Game Report

Noel talks about last week’s games and says the banker saved himself some money last week with the way the games played out. He also hopes today's game will be better than the last few Sundays, where there have been some low wins.

It’s Maria’s turn to take the walk of wealth today, and she does so with box 7. Maria goes the opposite way around the desk to most contestants... She has her husband in the audience for support today, and we get to see pics of her children. She tells us it was real shock when she was told she was having twins, and it was a bigger shock to her husband! Number 7 is Maria's lucky number, and she then reveals that 3 is her other lucky number (will there be a swap offer at some point!)

Round 1
12 - £5
15 - £10
Noel tells us Jenny is ill today, so Rossano will be opening her box…
4 - £500
11 - £10,000
6 - £100,000 Big groans for that one...

Maria says it's OK, as there are still some big numbers there. The banker says he is flustered today, as he was late to the office today because of all the Sunday drivers!!! He tells Noel he has really been looking forward to Maria's game, and he doesn't know if she will go all the way today, but thinks she doesn’t know either... He offers £8,100… Maria says NO DEAL

Round 2
14 - £50
5 - £15,000
17 - 50p

Noel says it felt as though the game was a bit was a bit of roller-coaster, but it seems OK now. The banker says he doesn't like the way this game is working out, and offers £15,000… Maria says she is not ready to go yet, and it’s NO DEAL

The banker calls straight back and tells Maria to watch it, and he thinks that quick response was a lack of respect!!!

Round 3
18 - £75,000 ARGGHH No says Noel
21 - £1,000
9 - 10p

The banker quickly calls and offers £15… The low offer is because the banker thinks that Maria dismissed the last offer too quickly and didn’t show any respect!! Maria says NO DEAL

The banker calls back as Noel and Maria chat about her not respecting the last offer! Noel answers the phone and tells him that he will be with him in a minute and hangs up!!!

The banker calls back again, and wants to negotiate with Maria, so Noel hands her the phone... He tells Maria that they will wipe the slate clean now...

Round 4
19 - £100
1 - 1p
Noel says this is looking really strong at the moment
2 - £5,000

That wasn't ideal, but it's fine at the moment says Noel... The Banker offers £22,015… Noel asks Maria's husband what he thinks, and he replies that it's tempting... Alan tells her she has a strong board and even if she takes out the £250,000, she will get a good offer... Maria says NO DEAL

Round 5
8 - £20,000
13 - £35,000
Now it's getting scary says Noel
16 - £750 Big cheers for the blue....

That was a bit close says Noel, and he wonders if the banker will punish her now... This is an interesting offer now says Noel... It's £15,000, but it's twins... The offer is £30,000… The banker tries some mind games by referring to Maria's twins in the offer, but Maria says what about her daughter as well... Maria's husband joins her at the pound table, and they have a little chat... Maria says she would be disappointed if she dealt and the £250,000 was in her box...

Maria is ready for the question, but the banker calls back!! He tells Maria that there is a 60% of taking out the £250,000 in the next round, and he then offers an extra £5,000 for her daughter... New offer is £35,000… Maria says NO DEAL

Round 6
20 - £50,000 Newbie Daniel
The fallback has gone now says Noel....
10 - £1 Big cheers
Everyone starts shouting "one more", and Maria says she has to keep box 3
22 - £250 The studio goes wild

It’s time for The Banker with £3,000 and £250,000 remaining… This is scary that it is the same end board as Laura says Noel... The banker reminds Noel of what he offered Laura, and he asks Maria if she can remember, she replies that it was £45,000… The Banker offers £25,000 for each of her children... The offer is £75,000

Noel says the banker is terrified, hence the larger offer... Maria says she would be upset if she blew the £250,000, but it's also a lot of money... Maria says DEAL

Noel says you would have got the swap, but Maria says she would never have swapped...

Noel opens Maria’s box 7 and reveals £3,000
Box 3 contains the £250,000
