Karen's Game Report

Noel opens today's show by whipping up the pilgrims into a frenzy and talks about the great game yesterday, the £250,000 gets its build up again.

It's Karen today and she has box 6, Noel points out that Karen is the first person to go the wrong way around the table when taking her seat (don't think this is quite right as I'm sure there have been a couple of others who have done that). Noel runs through Karen's numerous jobs and is interested in her job as montage erector!!!! It's something to do with erecting tents in France!). Karen doesn't have a system, she says she is short sighted and will have trouble seeing the board, so Noel moves the table halfway up the runway!!!!

Round 1
Karen picks Howard first and Noel calls him the banker's creep!!
19 - £250,000 Noel says he DOES work for the banker!!
9 - £10 Cheers (new chappie on the end - that's Ian new nickname now!!)
15 - £15,000
22 - £50
21 - £50,000 groans all around

Karen tells Noel that sometimes she goes too far! The banker says I bet she does!! The banker has a message for Howard - He loves him!! He says it was a terrible opening round and also that Karen's file shows while on the wings she was a dealer, he then offers £5,000,
Karen says NO DEAL.

Round 2
2 - £1
10 - £10,000
Noel wants the game to turn around now
11 - 10p Karen thought it was the 1p!!

Noel goes into to the audience to get a pair of glasses from someone as Karen thought that last box was the 1p! The banker wants Noel to tell Karen the last box was £100,000!! He says he is getting a headache from the noisy tax-dodging students in the audience!! He then offers £9,500. Karen says it's a lot of money and there are only 4 values higher on the board, she also wants a sweep. Noel allows her to do the sweep herself, they all say to go on as there is another deal in the game, Howard is accused of creeping again!!! Karen says
NO DEAL

Round 3
18 - 1p BIG cheers and applause all round
20 - £75,000 Groans for that one
14 - £100 cheers

Karen says it's not too bad as there is still big money up there. The banker is deeply hurt that Howard said he was sincere that time, implying that he wasn't sincere in the past!! Howard is called over to the pound table, and speaks to the banker, Howard is told that the banker still loves him - Noel wants to know what the offer was but he didn't tell Howard. The banker calls back and offers £7,000, Karen says NO DEAL.

Round 4
Karen has a stroll around the wings...
6 - £250 Cheers for the blue
17 - £750 more cheers
3 - £500

Karen gets the all blue round that she needed and is very happy with the round. The banker didn't think the game would get this far and offers £12,000. Karen says she thinks it's a good offer and goes to Gaz for advice, he says it's a good offer and she knows what her gameplan is. Karen is worried that although there are still big numbers in play she has seen many games get destroyed in 1 round, she has a think and says DEAL. Karen quickly apologises to the audience and says she needs the cash, she then asks Noel not to do any chicken noises.

Round 5 - Proveout round
1 - £5
13 - £100,000 BIG CHEERS and applause for the loss of that one
Karen goes to box 8 as she says that would have had a large amount, but Noel doesn't let her, as she must play the game as she would have done!!
7- £35,000

The banker calls and would have offered £3,000.

Round 6 - proveout round
4 - £20,000 BIG cheers
12 - £1,000
5 - 50p

With £3,000 and £5,000 left the banker would have offered £4,000, Karen would have carried on there.

Noel opens Karen's box 6 and reveals £5,000, box 8 contains the £3,000.

Karen plays the perfect game and goes away with £12,000 the highest amount available in the game.....
