Steph's Game Report

Here we are at the last show of the week for the start of the new season, and what a week it has been. We have had the highs of Mark (£26,000), Nick(£45,000) and Lance (£87,000) with the lows of Lindsay (£500) and Sharron (1p), despite the 2 low wins if today's contestant can produce a win of just over £12,000 it will produce the best ever week for contestant's overall winnings.

Today’s player is Steph and she has box 16 - Steph gives noel a hug and kiss, she has her husband in the audience who says they have no target for today. Steph has 2 pressies - one for Noel and one for the banker. She has brought a Wallet along with her that belonged to her late gran-dad which she now keeps photos in that are close to her, Noel says he hopes that it can be filled with loads of money at the end of the show. Hopefully Steph can turn around the fortune of the female contestant's this week and produce a nice win for the end of the first week.

Round 1
4 - £5,000
8 - £100 new girl Hannah
2 - £1,000 Noel tempts fate by saying a super start
17 - £15,000 mixed reaction
22 - £250 Big applause

Steph is happy with the opening round and she gives the banker his gift, which appears to have nothing inside - it's just an empty box - banker hopes there was a kiss blown into it. Banker gives Steph the nickname of Sassy Steph and offers £8,900.
Steph says it's a good offer, husband Mark says a very good offer, Steph says NO DEAL

Round 2
5 - £35,000
10 - 1p big cheers
1 - £50

Steph says the pressie for Noel is to keep his lucky teabag in. The banker reveals that there was something originally inside his box as he has just seen Ed from the production team with chocolate all over his face. He makes Steph an offer of £17,500, Steph says NO DEAL

Round 3
13 - £1
20 - £10,000
3 - £250,000

The banker offers £10,000 but says it would have been £27,500 if a blue were hit on last box of that round. Sweep of wings and everyone says NO DEAL, Steph agrees and says NO DEAL

Round 4
12 - £750
18 - £20,000
9 - £3,000

Steph says she is getting good vibes but admits she is getting scared. Banker reckons that Steph will take out all three large values in the next round and offers £15,000, Steph quickly says NO DEAL

Round 5
7 - £100,000
14 - £50,000
11 - £5

The banker’s prediction nearly came true on that last round and he now believes that he can get the box for pence now... He makes on offer of £4,750. Steph says NO DEAL

Round 6
15 - £500
6 - 50p
21 - 10p

Steph produces a dream round by dodging the £75,000 and having an all-blue round. With £10 and £75,000 on the board the banker offers £25,000, Steph decides to DEAL

Noel opens steph's box 16 to reveal £75,000, Box 19 contains the £10.

Although Steph could have won £75,000 it would have been a big gamble on that last offer with the chance of walking away with £10, and with the win of £25,000 it gives us the best week of winnings on the show ever totalling £183,500.01.

I think most people will agree that it's been a great start to new season giving us amazing highs and lows in the games and providing fantastic drama and entertainment.

Mark A's Game Report

The start of the new season so far has turned into games that have been almost 'All or Nothing' games where the games produce small or decent wins with no real middle ground, will today’s game keep this theme going?

Noel introduces the show by mentioning Sharron's game yesterday and her becoming the 8th member of the 1p club who have now had to move out of their phonebox and into their new accommodation of a caravan.

Mark with box 15 is today's contestant to take the walk of wealth and is escorted down it by a lively audience, We learn Mark is a police dog handler who does believe in fate and destiny and he tells his story of how fate helped him meet his wife who is in the audience today offering support.

Round 1
7 - 50p the lively audience are given an early chance for cheers
19 - £100,000 produces a few 'ooohs' and 'aahhs'
Noel interrupts here and asks if Mark has a system, he doesn't - Noel suggests he should have brought along his police dog to help sniff out the boxes.
16 - £5,000
11 - £75,000 produces more groans
1 - £750 cheers and applause finish off the round

The banker calls and says 'Ello Ello Ello what's all this then' and that Mark should have been a detective as he is used to following leads, he then offers £4,452. The offer relates to the policeman’s number in the children’s TV programme Trumpton. Mark says NO DEAL.

Round 2
14 - £500
12 - £100
8 - £50,000

The last box produces a deathly silence in the studio. The banker calls and initially offers £999 before then adding an 8 on the front and offering £8,999. The offer does surprise Mark as he expect lower, he then says NO DEAL.

Round 3
17 - £1,000
20 - £10,000 This box silences the audience until Mark says it's OK and he can cope with it, then applause follows
3 - £10

The police jokes continue with Noel answering the phone as Dixon of Dock Green followed by a line about a cat being stuck up a tree and needing to call in Special Branch, Mark quickly retorts back that he's 'Twigged'. The banker says he is unsure who is ahead at the moment and needs more time to come up with an offer, so Noel stalls and asks a contestant what they think, they come to the same conclusion that it is really balanced at this stage. The banker calls back and makes an offer of £13,000. Mark calls his wife down from the audience for this decision and she says it's a nice offer and by risking going on that if the £250,000 goes in the next round that he will really be forced to play the game until the end, despite her advice Mark is convinced there is at least one more round in the game and says NO DEAL.

Round 4
10 - £3,000 gets big applause and even a few 'whoops'
2 - £1 Mark shouts out 'COME ON'
21 - 1p The studio loves that one as does Mark

Mark says he needs the toilet after that round and the banker must have as well as he takes ages to ring, when he eventually does call he makes an offer of £26,000. Noel says that the banker has rewarded Mark for his courage on the last offer, he then does a sweep of the contestants and audience who all give mixed reactions. Mark thinks for a while before saying DEAL

We now find out if Mark's decision was the right one with the proveout rounds

Proveout Round 5
22 - £20,000
4 - £250
13 - £5 There are sharp intakes of breath all around the studio

Noel turns to Mark who says 'Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but he can live with his decision as long as the £250,000 is not in his box'. The banker calls and says he would have offered £45,027, Mark says he is a little gutted at that.

Proveout Round 6
5 - £250,000 Great applause and relief all around the studio
18 - £35,000
9 - £50

The banker calls and says he would have offered £4,527, Mark says he would have dealt that offer as he would not have wanted to go away with 10p.

Noel opens the box 15 that is sat in front of Mark and reveals 10p, box 6 has the remaining £15,000.

Mark is delighted with his result and we have another win over the banker for the week and another entertaining game.

Sharron's Game Report

Sharron steps up to the 'pound table' today, hoping to make it three big wins over the banker in a row. Noel greets her in another very bright summer shirt!! We find out that Sharron is a double-glazing salesperson and swiftly informs her he doesn't need any!!! Sharron has box 10 today and her husband is in the audience to give support.

Round 1
Sharron informs Noel she will use her lottery numbers to help select her boxes today

7 - £15,000 New player Billy opens his box to groans from the audience
9 - £250 cheers for that one
14 - £50,000 'oooohhss' all round - Noel says the audience need to sort out their noises and Sharron decides to drop her lottery number strategy
11 - £100,000 Even bigger 'oooohhhsss'
12 - £10,000

Not a great start there and the banker phones and says he enjoyed that round before Noel interrupts and mentions the 'pasting' that he took over the past few days. The banker offers Sharron £870 which is a play on Lance's win yesterday of £87,000. Sharron surprisingly calls her husband down to consult on the decision and then declares NO DEAL.

Round 2
2 - £5,000
19 - £100 the blue is met with great cheers
4 - £35,000 more groans from the audience
Sharron cannot seem to stop hitting a large number in each round.

Noel tells the banker that Sharron has fantastic timing in that she has avoided numerous disasters around the world while travelling, the banker offers £4,500 and informs Sharron to use her timing skills to leave now with that offer. Sharron asks the audience for some advice and one attractive young lady pipes up DEAL, Noel singles her out and the banker phones back to ask for her phone number, Noel says that he wouldn't mind her number either... Sharron decides to NO DEAL

Round 3
18 - £5
21 - £3,000
20 - £250,000

Banker makes an offer of £1,313 based on Sharron's run of bad luck in the game. Noel goes back to the young lady in the audience for advice again, this time she says to NO DEAL - Sharron agrees and says NO DEAL.

Round 4
Sharron asks her husband to pick a box this time as she is having no luck
17 - 10p her husband delivers
1 - £50
Sharron asks the contestants if they feel they have a blue number in their box, there is not a lot of response apart from one who says he thinks his is blue'ish... Noel returns to the young lady in the audience yet again for advice and she says to go with box 22, he then gives her a slip of paper to which she asks is it Noel's phone number. Noel retorts back that does she think he would give out his phone number to her on a TV and asks her to read it out, it reads 'It's time for a break'

After the break Sharron goes with the audience member’s choice of
22 - 50p

Sharron comments that the board is starting to even up now, Noel makes a similar comment to the banker who in turn offers £3,131 which is the last offer with the numbers flipped. Sharron very quickly says NO DEAL.

Round 5
16 - £1,000 Spookily Ashley predicts an almost blue which is what Noel calls the £1,000
3 - £500
Sharron again lets her husband choose the next box.
6 - £75,000 her husband apologises

The banker phones very quickly and offers £950, Noel asks all the contestants for their opinions and it's NO DEAL all round. Sharron agrees and says NO DEAL.

Round 6
5 - £750
8 - £10 greeted with cheers and whistles from the audience
15 - £1 Big cheers again

With 1p and £20,000 left Sharron says she doesn't mind what she wins as she can't really loose now, she will either walk away with £20,000 or be famous in the 1p club.

The Banker calls and offers £3,000, this relates to a comment Sharron made earlier in the show where she said she hadn't come along to go away with £3,000.

Sharron gives a little speech to the audience saying she will be happy with whatever the outcome is of the game and not to be unhappy for her if she wins the 1p.

Sharron tells Noel NO DEAL

The banker phones and Sharron asks if she can take the call, she does and before the banker can say anything she quickly says 'No I don't want the swap thankyou' and hangs up on him!!!!

Noel opens box 10 to reveal 1p, and Sharron becomes the 8th member of the 1p club which is becoming not so exclusive now.....

Box 13 is opened to reveal £20,000, in an unlucky game the box with an unlucky number would have given a lucky outcome!!!

Lance's Game Report

After the superb game from Nick yesterday we hope for a repeat or even better result today. Noel greets us to the dream factory wearing another of his summer shirt collection and mentions Nick's great win of yesterday before discovering that today's contestant is Lance. Lance makes his way down the walk of wealth but drops his photos on the way, which are rescued by Noel. Lance was a novelty producer and produces a 'fart machine' much to Noels amusement - this is set to be a hilarious game, hopefully also a wealthy game for Lance. During the introduction Noel disappears off set and reappears with a bowler hat!!! With the lucky that was produced on Mondays show could be a theme that will run through the whole series.

Round 1
17 - 1p great start gets a big cheer all around
5 - £750
3 - 10p
14 - £15,000 mixed reactions on this box
8 - £10,000 produces an 'OUCH' from Lance

The banker mentions that Lance is his doppelganger and wonders if Lance will be able to second-guess him, Lance wonders if the banker is actually an old school friend of his!! After much banter and Noel being creased up in hysterics the Banker makes an offer of £10,000 to which Lance says 'Right see ya' in a fake 'Deal', after a little banter he says NO DEAL.

Round 2
6 - £3,000
9 - £100
16 - £5

The banker makes an offer of £25,000 which is received with much applause from the audience and 'Splendid offer' from Lance. Lance ponders for a while before saying NO DEAL.

Round 3
15 - £250,000
12 - £5,000
2 - £500

The banker offers £12,500 which is almost immediately NO Dealed

Round 4
1 - £35,000
13 - £10
19 - £50,000 Ouch - Lance chose box 18 before this, but changed his mind after the break - hopefully it won't come back to haunt him.....

The banker makes an offer of £9,600 which Lance doesn't even consider and chooses his next box before Noel pulls him up and says he needs to answer the question first!! Lance replies NO DEAL...

Round 5
18 - £20,000 greeted with groans....
10 - 50p
20 - £1,000

Noel answers the banker wearing the bowler hat and receives some wolf whistles from the audience. The banker makes an offer of £17,500 to which Noel says that with him wearing the lucky bowler hat and Lance having a sniff of the lucky teabag that was used in earlier shows he could go onto wonderous things. Lance ponders on this for a while and then says he 'is feeling lucky' followed by 'NO DEAL'.

Round 6
21 - £250 cheers all round
11 - £50 even more cheers and Lance says it's now getting exciting!!!
4 - £1 produces an incredible response from the whole studio

Lance produces an incredible all-blue round and leaves the £100,000 and £75,000 on the board.

The Banker makes an offer of £87,000. Noel asks Lance if he is 'loaded', he replies he used to be but has lost some significant amounts in the past and both the amounts on the board are huge amounts of money as is the offer. After mentioning that the money would help his daughters get onto the property ladder he announces that he will DEAL for £87,000.

Noel opens Lance's box 22 to reveal the £100,000, so Lance sells his box short but produces an amazing and VERY entertaining game. I am sure there will be debates that rage on for a long as to whether Lance should have taken the gamble on the last offer as it was almost in the middle of the two large amounts left, but Lance provided fantastic entertainment and I don't think many will disagree with that.

The banker likes the honesty side to Nick but the motto borrowed from the SAS doesn't go down well, Nick then comes back to say it's not borrowed from the SAS it's borrowed from Del Boy on Only Fools and Horses.

The Banker goes on with an opening offer of £8,000 - This is declined by Nick

This greeted by great appalause around the studio and Nick admits it's a fantastic offer and he has never had £8,000 in his account let alone £20,000 but says 'NO DEAL'

Round 3
22 -£10
8 - £100 studio erupts into applause
2 - £5 the whole studio goes wild
FANTASTIC round again with another All-Blue round

Nick is amazed at the game and says he needs his seat back, the banker calls and asks Nick if he could look at the colour balance on the board as it seems to be faulty and showing too much red. He goes on to offer £31,000. Nick looks overwhelmed with the offer and says he is getting speechless with these offers, his girlfriend also says it is a fantastic offer but there is still a great board up there. Nick Says 'NO DEAL' and then whips the audience up into a frenzy......

The banker makes an offer of £45,000, Nick is looks even more overwhelmed with this offer and says he needs help on this offer. He goes to his fellow contestants and starts with Lance who says
that is a fantastic offer but to make up his own mind on it as he is not getting involved and then performs a little chicken dance. Nick gets a little more advice before deciding to DEAL and take the £45,000

Round 5
12 - £250,000 Superb - Studio erupts as the box is revealed

Noel opens Nick's box 13 to reveal £5,000 and proves what a superb game Nick played.

Noel says that this would have been a superb opening game for the new season but it's only a day late. It's seems to have been a while now that the banker has taking a hammering, but Nick has done this.
