Welcome to donduk. A refuge for those who enjoy Deal or No Deal, the hit Channel 4 gameshow hosted by Noel Edmonds. The award winning gameshow Deal or No Deal has become a big hit for Channel 4 and marks a sensational return to our screens of Noel Edmonds.

Deal or No Deal is enjoyed my millions of viewers daily, where the contestants battle with The Banker to try and win a jackpot of £250,000. Here at donduk you will find full daily reports of each show, as well Deal or No Deal news and specials. Deal or No Deal although initially appearing very simple in format of just opening a few boxes for the chance to win some big money prizes, actually has some potentially complex decisions to be made at points throughout the show, the contestants occasionally try complex or simple gameplay in an attempt to give them an edge in beating the Banker.

A Few Points..........

Firstly i dont know whether jo was gifted the buddha or bought it herself but i wonder if she knows its only lucky to have if you are gifted it and can bring bad luck otherwise! I was also wondering if there is a way myself and fellow dond fans can chat whilst the programme is on so we can discuss progress, flaws and other comments we might want to pass before we forget!!! Lets hear what everyone thinks of my idea and if they have a solution!

Someone who is good with that sort of thing needs to come up with a chat room or something. Great idea though.

Hi Bal

I understand your wish for a form of chat room while DOND is being broadcast. The problem we have on this site is that we are completely clean and it would need monitoring as there are just too many fruitcakes out there (which is why we filter all comments).

We just don't have the resources to cover it.

If not on this site then perhaps on a messenger service, or a chatroom through another site. Would take some working out, but could be worth it.

Hi BAL- as you see the site is here for you to make your comments - if your'e like me make little notes and then lose them -I was gifted a Buddha in Thailand but couldn't find it on the day, maybe that is why I only won a £1,000.

That was really unlucky, that was.
You played the game exactly as I would have played it. Had a larger amount been in your box, you would have won it. It just fell the wrong way for you.

Still one of my favorite games though.

i'm a part of msn and we could always meet on there for people who wanted to chat but i think there should be a vetting service that we go through on this site where someone has to be emailed if they want to join the instant messaging group with all their particulars! I dont mind heading the vetting service to take the weight off iain as he has so much to do already!!! If we can set something up it will be another postive step forward for our website!

Good for you Bal. If I can help in any way let me know.

well i was thinking anyone who wants to join up can email me and leave me their name, details about themselves and how long they have been a member of dond blogspot if applicable and once up and running, if we receive any complaints then we can take action against the person in question. In order to make a valid complaint it is highly important to keep logs of all conversations as this will work in the best interests of all users. So once i get the go ahead anyone wanting to join please email me on baldevkaran@hotmail.co.uk. Once accepted into the instant dond group the person's name will appear on a no comments post on this site and people can feel free to add them to their contacts list. If a person is added without their recommendation is added at your own risk! Email addresses will not be posted on here only names and user names that you are known by on msn. How does that sound?

I can't see that working Bal. I can create a basic chat environment over the weekend, which donders gain access to by username/password login, and which you control.

It will probably require a couple of versions before we are happy with it, but as long as there is someone else (i.e. you) to monitor it, then I am happy.

OK?

Thats a much better idea! I'll be happy to monitor it, do i need to be logged in all the time, if so then do you think we need another moderator? I would have been lost if you had asked me to design the chat room so i'm glad you volunteered!

This is a great idea, instead of shouting at the tv, we can shout at each other instead!!

I'm full of great ideas! lol
But seriously we do the same when watching it so it would be so nice to able to hear a fresh opinion. Today started off as a great game and even though i didn't really get to know her i really felt for her and think she deserved more!
